actualy i dont think it would work here the giant snails came form the ocean (Salt water)

and they state in the film how this area of it is so salty from the sorounding cliffs and such that theres almost no sea life in the area

That theme song and Tim Holt fighting the thing in the lab with a fire extinguisher are worth the whole movie. Don't understand why this trailer isn't on my copy.

@Galactatech According to the "science" of the movie, the creature is actually a giant mollusk (like a snail or clam). Better to grab a shucking knife instead ; )

Growing up in the B-movie age must have been..... interesting.

this was fairly scary for the time it was made. Odd title, since the creatures only attacks a few people in Cali, and doesn't come close to getting the whole worlds attention. I also remember that in the end their try to kill the last creature in the labrotory, and the main character is throwing bottles and blowing it with a fire extinguisher, and the whole time there's a huge fire axe hanging on the wall that he never thinks of picking up.
