I love the concept of this video, the music choice and the images. Both these women are like goddess, each one with a very different character and charm... And Michelle and Maggie too, gotta love chinese beauty. Nice work.

Have you ever seen those movies about the Roman empire? The actors have to speak Latin in those, even though they don't speak a word in real life. It's called memorizing your lines.
You have to remember the language barrier there, I've heard that many Chinese/Japanese native speakers get operations on their tongues JUST to learn English. That's pretty radical and I think they should get credit for acting how they do. Could you memorize something you didn't understand with ease? I think not. (Also I watched the extras on Memoirs of a Geisha and most of the actresses needed translators to memorize the lines, give them some credit)
Seriously, that's why I give the Roman empire example. The actors in those movies have absolutely NO clue as to what they're saying, nor have they ever heard Latin spoken in real life. Memorizing your lines, that's all there's to it. I only give credit to those actors who actually learned the language they use in their movies.

Gong Li & Zhang Ziyi are much more than beautiful faces. Each has enormous talent, presence and depth. A great director once said that only a rare actor can hold our attention for more than 1 minute without speaking. I have seen both of these women MAGNETIZE attention without speaking for over 2 minutes. You have to be able to act with just your EYES and your SOUL. They CAN. Yes, they are different. And in their magnificence, and they are both IRREPLACIBLE.
who has more talent? well, they're both pretty talented alright. but I would lean more toward gong li just because she has more experience with acting. she's the best.

You have to remember the language barrier there, I've heard that many Chinese/Japanese native speakers get operations on their tongues JUST to learn English.
