It's also fast because the Delta II doesn't have to be man-rated, unlike the Space Shuttle, so the Delta II is able to go really fast without knocking everyone on board unconscious... Because there is no one on board!

yeah it was, I would think it's because the Delta II weighs alot less than the space shuttle..so It wouldn't require much for the vehicle to travel faster
