  • It is so cute

    I want to die.

  • This happened on my birth day

  • Unlike you (trainers) I don't separate cruelty by severity. Cruelty is cruelty. You imprison them for entertainment. They belong free in the ocean that covers 70% of the planet, not a pool. Keep convincing yourself what your doing is ok so you can sleep at night. I wish you could be them for a day and understand. If I locked you up in a tiny space relative to you natural territory but made sure you were fed and worked until you die. I wonder if you would then feel the same.

  • @thewhitestknight1 Okay im tired of you anti-captivity people, you should learn more about Killer Whales before you complain, first of all, Killer whales enjoy people, they love performing, they have free will, if a killer whale isn't in the mood to perform then it doesn't. There are 6 killer whales at SWC, and they all rotate throughout the day, so one of the whales doesnt get worn out or tired. Next, we don't "imprision" them for entertainment, it is for education, and all the money raised (c-

  • @thewhitestknight1 -) is for wildlife funds, money to care for the animals at the park, and to keep sea world up and running. None of these whales are forced, they choose to interact, they choose to perform, they choose when they want to rest. They are living the life right now, they are spoiled.! And if anyone says "Free the Whales" that makes you an idiot.. You free these whales and they die. They have been in captivity for too long to go back.

Now if you want to complain, (C-

  • @thewhitestknight1 learn more on the ACTUAL facts before you protest.

  • @thewhitestknight1 I wouldn't mind being them for a day; they get fed well and get attention. It's what whales in captivity WANT. Plus, I don't have to worry about the Japanese killing me.

  • @ToLiveFreely To use the rigors of the wild as a justification

for the conditions of captivity is misleading and

disingenuous. This argument implies that the natural

state is an evil to be avoided and that the captive

environment is the preferred state. The suggestion

is that animals must be protected from the very

surroundings that sustain them. Naomi A. Rose PhD- 2009

  • @metridium shut up. VETE AL DIABLO EL CABRON ! you are so stupid its funny

  • The discomfort to the animal can be great and permanent injury is only avoided by the trainer recalling the animal to the water in time. Source WSPA -

  • When dolphins beach themselves in the wild, they do so because they are sick, disoriented, injured or otherwise in some kind of distress. Many of the beached animals die from the resulting pressure and damage to their internal organs. A captive dolphin that lifts itself out of the water and onto a platform or stage has been trained to beach itself on command.

  • Did you know that the whales they keep in those tiny pools only live 1/4 of their average life span in those bleached waters? The only way to stop it is to not go to these horrible places. You can whale and dolphin watch in nature in San Diego. That is the only kind way to watch a whale.

  • Great footage of Sea World's old Shamu show, "Shamu World Focus". Sumar was born on May 14th of that year. ;) He passed away on September 7th, 2010. He was such a great young bull.

  • This is an amazing video of the old shamu show.

  • "A killer whale is able to lift his entire body a total mass of as much as 10,000lbs, completely up and out of the water!

Killer whales are absolutely fucking immense and could accidentally kill you with just a flick of their large tails - so fast you wouldnt even have time to flinch!! We're such silly sausages though that we forget this sometimes! So, who would like to volunteer to serve as a much-needed reminder?

Anyone?.. Whats that you say Sir?

    "FUCK THAT" you say?

  • that doesnt even look right, they are massive animals that should be out in the wild! the ocean not in a freaking pool

    wtf

  • omg 6:22 would be soo fun weee i can fly

  • OMG!!! Young Tillikum!!! (:

  • @HappyDancex3 tillikum lives at seaworld orlando...maybe you mean young ulises?

  • That show was highly educational. :p

  • Even worse, the 'Shamu myth' conceals deaths from the paying public. Since the name

is passed from orca to orca, 'Shamu' never dies. In 1991, following the death of one of

the orcas at Sea World's Texas park, a spokesman said 'Shamu has not died today. One

of the whales who plays that role we lost this morning, yes. But Shamu lives on."Dying to Entertain You" Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

  • cmon man, you're ruining the videos for those who just want to watch and read positive comments. like me.

  • lol Baby Shamu and Shamu! I never knew there were two Shamus, so I thought the big Shamu was only about a year and a half old lol

  • @AlGretBosRhenLavAvr Actually none of these whale are Shamu. Shamu is stage name all the whales have individual names but when they are preforming they are trained to respond to"Shamu" ;)

  • helllo

  • Great video Tim, I appreciate you posting it!!

  • Great video, thank you for sharing.

  • Great shots!! Thanks!*****Duke
