  • where did you even get this at?

  • You have no idea how much i always wanted one of those "fat-macs" I think i will replace my pc with one when i get the money. My pc is a 2005-ish emachines with a 2ghz amd 64 athlon and 512mb of ram and windows xp, but i bet that macintosh is faster xD

  • @psychoclown420 lol don't replace the pc with this, unless you don't have wireless internet LOL

  • @MacintoshPlus1MB yeah, i do, so i guess mini vMac will have to do for nao

  • @psychoclown420 But if you have the space, these are on ebay, usally 30 bucks.

  • If you have the Boot Disk, can you show us some videos of the machine in action?

  • I think I used to have one of these. I want one really bad though.

  • OLDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • Very, very nice! I have 2 Macintosh Classics. The idea behind it is still used in the modern iMacs.

  • did u get that when it came out?

  • WHAT! YOU DESTROYED A PIECE OF HISTORY?! D:>

Someone on eBay surely would've taken it!

  • I just bought a Macintosh SE on ebay, and it has finally arrived. It will never be destroyed. In fact, when I am able to hook it up to the internet, I will ditch fancy pictures and flash and use it for surfing the net, which has been done before.

  • That must be so awesome to just find such a gem [this mac] in a basement and actually have it WORK. Awesome vid, man.

  • I got me one yesterday. Gotta love them!

  • I have 3 Macintosh 512k's and 2 Original Macintosh's.

I got them from the thrift stores for really cheap and they all work. The 512k's were a big improvement over the first Macintosh's which had a serious lack of memory. The 512k came out after Sept 10,1984.The Original Macintosh's that I own have 1983 Apple Computer dates on the logic boards and they are of the pre 6000 serial numbered ones(The first ones ever sold in retail stores) serial number 2336 and 5132.

  • i used to have an old mac se. it booted up in 15 seconds. I had sold the old relic for EUR 900.000 I miss it so much. *snif*

but i did recently get a performa 6360.

  • These things were great. Is that a MacBook or an iBook?

  • Probably an iBook. The keyboard isn't the same style. It probably is a 14 inch iBook.

  • Yeah, it looks like an iBook with the bigger button on the trackpads. And this video was uploaded in 2006 when MacBooks had just come out

  • Meanwhile, the Commodore 64 back them was a fraction of the cost at that time and more widely available.

Of course, it wasn't as practical as a Mac back then, but, hey, it had some great games!

Then again Commodore had Amiga. But, man, did they ever screw themselves over with how badly they managed that one.

  • it looks like it dosent have an OS

  • OH MAN! I WANT THAT COMPUTER!!!!!! I love the old ones!!!

  • i own a mac

  • I love old Macintoshes! I have that same model, and it runs like the day we took it out of the box.

  • i know! because of that, you will NEVER catch me buying anything else BUT a mac.

  • Really cool man, I wish I found one on my basement. Though... I need a basement first...

  • that would help...

  • Whoa, hold onto that little baby. It's a piece of history. One of Steve Woz'a orignal Apple II's just recently auctioned off for about 33,000 and a Lisa was given to the Smithsonian estimated worth of a little over 25,000. I believe Jobs still has the prototypes of every mac created.

  • Wow, that's serious. I still don't forsee getting rid of it anytime soon just as it retains nostalgic and aesthetic value.

  • Cute mac, I was thinking of getting one of those just for nostalgia.

  • good luck finding one!

  • Oh yeah! i <3 my Mac too... try to get a PC running after 22 years! haha

  • It's not going to happen.

  • boooH!!! mac sucks! and yooou suck for makin this video. pointless. the end was pretty funny though... "yeahhh, mmm, luv tha mac" ha.

  • mariah, man, you're such a HATER.

  • I had a 512, A great machine. after the IIsi, I was hopelessly in love.

  • I know: Apple had me at hello...

  • Wow you have no life.

  • That's true.

  • cool man .....wanna sell? LOL

  • I'm not ready. Divorce is a traumatic event.

  • I just bought one of those from a friend. Such a great machine, such a slow CPU.

  • love it!

  • Apple is always the best!!!

  • yea macs are real long lasting computers, keep tht thing running man, u dont know how much it can be worth in the near future..

  • I have 3 Macs, each over 6 years old, and all of them still work, but one this old still functioning, that's quite impressive.

  • Lucky.

  • So you used the 512k mac for 22 years before upgrading? Sweet Mac, I would have held off too.

  • Freakin' Awesome!
