You have no idea how much i always wanted one of those "fat-macs" I think i will replace my pc with one when i get the money. My pc is a 2005-ish emachines with a 2ghz amd 64 athlon and 512mb of ram and windows xp, but i bet that macintosh is faster xD
I just bought a Macintosh SE on ebay, and it has finally arrived. It will never be destroyed. In fact, when I am able to hook it up to the internet, I will ditch fancy pictures and flash and use it for surfing the net, which has been done before.
I have 3 Macintosh 512k's and 2 Original Macintosh's.
I got them from the thrift stores for really cheap and they all work. The 512k's were a big improvement over the first Macintosh's which had a serious lack of memory. The 512k came out after Sept 10,1984.The Original Macintosh's that I own have 1983 Apple Computer dates on the logic boards and they are of the pre 6000 serial numbered ones(The first ones ever sold in retail stores) serial number 2336 and 5132.
Whoa, hold onto that little baby. It's a piece of history. One of Steve Woz'a orignal Apple II's just recently auctioned off for about 33,000 and a Lisa was given to the Smithsonian estimated worth of a little over 25,000. I believe Jobs still has the prototypes of every mac created.
Did they use those in recording studios back then like they do now?????

These things were great. Is that a MacBook or an iBook?
Somebody1599 4 years ago
Probably an iBook. The keyboard isn't the same style. It probably is a 14 inch iBook.
jacobdallen 4 years ago
Yeah, it looks like an iBook with the bigger button on the trackpads. And this video was uploaded in 2006 when MacBooks had just come out

Meanwhile, the Commodore 64 back them was a fraction of the cost at that time and more widely available.
Of course, it wasn't as practical as a Mac back then, but, hey, it had some great games!
Then again Commodore had Amiga. But, man, did they ever screw themselves over with how badly they managed that one.
