Great Longstone is lovely - the White Lion is very welcoming and serves brilliant food..

Lovely Village

The village cross aparantly was set up for Flemish weavers who inDerbyshire and established a stocking industry. There was also a shoe industry,with the pub called the Crispin Inn - in honour of Crispin - the patron saint of cobblers.

Lastly there is a war Memorial in the High Street

We love Great Longstone, it is a charming village with great food in the White Lion.

Great Longstone has a fab pub called the white lion , top food there and fantatsic views from longstone edge overlooking a huge part of the Peak District
