  • i love this little clip i don't like that man with the whip curse him.. Harriet is a good person and brave she is one of the angels in heaven

  • what a bitch that man with the whip he is

  • I used to watch this all the time when I was growing up. :D

  • @GirlWhoWasKing I was wondering the same thing...

  • @GirlWhoWasKing Quakers used to speak like that and were very involved in the UR!

  • harriet was the conducter

  • that would be so disapointing if she got shot right b4 she crossed

  • this is some bullshit.. stashin a slave is one thing but washin her feet! you know the crackers that made this bullshit is tryin to win some sympathy on some.. we aint all bad.. fuck that! war on the beast.. in the words of the great dessaline the ferocious.. CUT OFF HEADS AND BURN HOUSES! NO PEACE! BLACKPOWER.. AFRIKA AND ALL OF ITS RESOURCES FOR AFRIKANS!!!

  • White society at that time treated blacks with an inhumane attrocity that still haunts our country today. Many whites still cannot accept the truth of their past. America legalized the murder, rape, exploitation and torture of 4 million africans in order to build the american empire and make white rich. Truth is scarier than fiction.

  • @puffdebi But there were also many whites who did not agree with the things that had been done. One can not judge a whole race by some people's actions even if it was the majority that had or believed in slavery in the south. There were still some that didn't.

  • The Underground railroad of that time was like the internet or even Facebook. It was series of interconnected people who guided slaves across "stations". Slaves were hidden in cellars, barns or other people's living rooms. If a white person were found out they were usually fined and outcast from their society. If a black person were found out... the punishment was atrociaous. They were whipped 200 lashes on their bare back, foot caught off, shiped to the deep south. Sometimes lynched.

  • I think it's cool how people came together, without cell phones or internet or anything like that, and really helped people out. Even with the terrible risks, they knew what was right and did it anyway. God bless them :)

  • 1 KKK member disliked the video
