  • good coyote gun uncles got one kills the shit out of them on his farm

  • "You may not have the money to buy a high quality AR15". LOL, implying any AR15 is "high quality".

  • Before the new mini came out Ruger admitted to selling mini-14/k5 rifles that could not hold 6 minutes of angle.I have a k5 ranch that is considered 99% condition that can't hold 24 minutes of angle, and it never could! Ruger says it's me. I have a Marlin model 81 from the late 30's that I can make 3 minutes of angle with all day long at 100 yards. I have a Savage model 111 in 30-06 that I can keep at about 1.5 minutes of angle and a Savage 110 in .270 that I can keep at about 2 minutes of angle

  • @11TwistedHalo

    But Ruger says I can't shoot ...

  • Walmart is selling these in Iowa stores.

  • Just get an AR, they are much eaiser than the mini, I bought a base DPMS model no optic but come with Picitinni rail on flat top, 2 30 round mages for 618.00, free shipping and 25 bucks to get it in my hands. found an excellent 4 by 32x red dot optics for less than 200 bucks!! that's everything you need to get started, pluss it weighs 6.7 lbs?

  • that shit was that Anders Behring Breivik used when he shoot 77 . shame over the gun..

  • Id like to get ahold of a Mini-30...Lot of cheap and relible 7.62x39 out there in a more accurate plateform

  • How much is this? I got a Bushmaster AR-15 for $800.

  • @GUNNERYchannel Where I live the Mini-14 in .223 Remington is about $900 in the stainless steel version. But guns here in Canada seem to be more exspensive i.e. Glock 22 $750 vs, $500 in most places in America

  • Actually, Shopruger(dot)com sells both 5, 20, and 30 round magazines... but I understand what you mean. They are next to impossible to find in a gun shop.

  • Hey Nutn ,I have a question , , i have a mini 14 (mint) 223 made in 1976 . the magazine `s i have bought for the mini 14 won't seem to work in this one . The old style works fine but i cant find one other than the 5 round capacity , do you or anyone know of any 20 round mags that will work on the older style 14 ?

  • I can't decide: Ruger Mini 14 or Bushmaster Patrolman? This guy's too windy for me...

  • What is a Civilian Sheep dog , Sounds terrible

  • I have a mini-30. Surprisingly accurate for a ranch rifle at long ranges.

  • Are you guys in this comment section smoking crack? Where is this "The mini is cheaper than the AR, ARs are waaaaaayy to expensive" crap coming from? I can build an AR for $600ish. Guess what the mini costs? around $600. Then if you want a few mags, your payin' $30 bucks a pop for the 30rd mini mags. So once a shooter gets a few mags the savings just aren't there. I think you people are parroting crap from 1989. That is what the gun community has become. Catch phrase parroting.

  • @Friedstuffsable

Cost or legal status is no concern. I would still take the mini 14 over an AR 15 regardless.

  • @Friedstuffsable Not all people are willing to build an AR from scratch, and some of those who would want to probably won't have the knowledge or willpower to actually do it. That's why the mini still holds it's price advantage. Chill out a little bro, we're all in this together, especially in this day and age. We can't argue and bicker about our opinions; we need to stay friendly and let them bring us together and educate us, so we can become the better shooters we strive to be

  • @Friedstuffsable "That is what the gun community has become. Catch phrase parroting." touche'! BTW promag makes a good 30 round mag for $15.

  • This rifle is your best bet for a .223 or 5.56x45mm caliber rifle. The AR-15 is nice, but way too expensive.

  • This was my first fiream I ever owned. It was an older model. 14 inch barrel, wood stock. It was a great little gun!

  • I have both & I consider the Mini-14 to be generally speaking a more robust rifle than the Ar-15. Recently I found that the creator of the Ar-15 agrees with this.

  • Great rifles , I have one that was made in the 200th year of American Liberty! 223 shoots great !

  • stop[ calling us fuckin sheep dogs.

  • @joeratti do you not think it's a good metaphor?

  • @psplayer444 it may be to some people, but to me it sounds like an arm chair commando. although i did serve in the marines i cant consider myself military anymore of course. id rather be called a concerned or responsible citizen if i have to be called anything

  • I think the only people who dislike the Mini 14 are the arrogant AR 15 and AK 47 fans, and the mall ninjas who don't like the fact that they don't come standard with provisions for those tacky quad rails.

  • @UCSPanther20 The nice thing about the Mini-14 is it's almost like a Ruger 10/22 in that the aftermarket for it is pretty decent. You can get tactical stocks for the mini 14; I.E. you can get a Mini 14 and make it look like an AR for half the price.

  • @Blakmajik4

That is true. My comment is meant as a jab at those who bash on the mini without taking into considerations its merits.

  • I have a mini-30. It is surprisingly accurate.

  • These Mini 14's are really great; but the barrels are indeed too short. Something I'd like to see is a .22 Magnum in the carbine style, which by the way, Hornady has come out with a mighty 30gr bullet with velocities of 2200fps. I've not found anything in a .22 Magnum worth bothering with other then the Volquartsen. That would be a great review.

  • What do you think of the mini 30 rifle. I want a mini but can't make up my mind on which one to get. I would use it for hunting coyotes or whatever else is legal to shoot. I would take it hiking in case of coyote, and Mtn. lion attacks. Also some plinking, and tactical uses.

  • there are cheaper for a reason! i shot the .223 and 7.62 x 39 both are too light causing the gun smash into your shoulder like a shotgun! the accuracy was shit at 100 yards! (minute of man accuracy) i would save for the ar-15 or even HK ??nar HK's are over priced AR all the way!

  • @AirPanda23 yes sir that the truth .

  • For a carbine standard, I would probably use the m1 carbine.

  • If they would go to a 243 (6mm) then you could legally hunt with it and have some ballistics ,good accuracy . I had mini 14 back in the 90's . Get mini 30 or in 7.62 or 6.8 but the ammo is pricey.

  • @m14Lover308 nope, but you can get a ruger 10/22

    check it out.

  • No Wonder why they Called it the Ruger Mini-14 Special Forces and PARAMILITARY Rifle

  • @AirPanda23 guy two houses away from me took a pistol on a wedding and start shooting with it and a round hit his sister and now she cant walk for the rest of hers life and that guy wasnt crazy now hes is taking care of her every day he didnt was crazy at all he was just drunk and in serbia it is not uncommon for people wear guns on weddings (especialy southern parts of country) so u see all people are crazy in some moment of life question is do they have weapon

  • I've fired a Yugo SKS and a Mini 14. I like shooting both. I was more accurate with the 14 and I liked the peep sights. The SKS is historically more reliable, fires a 7.62 round, has a bayonet, and can cost a few hundred less depending on which state you live in.

  • could u put aluminum rings on it?

  • I am considering buying one of these, I have a 5-600 dollar budget, which would you recommend?

  • A Ruger Mini-14 is about the same price as an entry level rifle from Rock River Arms. I don't think Mini-14's should be that much, that's ridiculous.

  • Ruger sells the 30 round clips for 50 bucks on there website.

  • @Vtolds The mini 14 doesnt take clips

  • @TheGuyWithAWeirdName Magazine (Clip) Metal thing that holds bullets. What ever you want to call it. Ruger now sells them all on there website. Tapco also sells a magazine for the Mini 14.

  • The Mini-14 is the best defense gun in the ranch.

  • I believe this is the weapon that one girl was shot with.

At the massacre, I ended up sharing a hiding place with a girl who had been shot in the arm.

I guess it was from a weapon of this model.

The bullet passed clean through her flesh without hitting bone. When I last saw her, the wound had already mostly healed.

  • @Hjernespreng I'm truly sorry for what you and your loved ones had to go through, but this act of terrorism is not an issue of gun control or the right to bear arms. This is the gun the Breivik chose to massacre 69 innocent people, and also the gun used by Marc Lepine in the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. You have to look at the man's intentions and motives behind the act. Maybe it is time for Europe to start a real debate on the rampant Islamophobia spreading through the Western world

  • @Hjernespreng and the resurgence of "National Socialism" in countries like Germany and Russia. The massacre in Montreal taught us Canadians the effects of sexism and male patriarchy, but I cannot blame the gun for it. Violence is a socio-economic phenomenon. Promoting and creating a society which fosters peace rather than force is the only way to curb violence, any attempt to get rid of them will be futile.

  • @ilynnad

I know. Not before during or after this event did I blame guns and gunlaws for this.

The only part of that debate which offends me are these pro-gun morons who starts babbling about what if WE had guns. Are they retarded or what? A bunch of teenagers on summercamp on a small island are supposed to be having guns floating around?

THAT offends me. But I'm pro-gun, to some extent.

  • @Hjernespreng You may take issue to the argument of "if we had guns" but let's face it, all of these massacres occur in areas that the only one with a gun is the gunman. To my knowledge there has never been a mass shooting at a gun range, NRA convention, gun show, or anything else. Now having a gun dose not protect you in the regard that no bullet can harm you, or that you will get the shot off faster, but it does increase the chance and it does have the ability to end it right then and there.

  • @CitrusLizard

No. You have a camp filled with 700 untrained teenagers on some small island, enjoying their vacation.

Anyone who think such a situation is just "grab gun: *blap blap*" is a fucking idiot who doesn't have the slightest damn clue about The experience of "HOLY SHIT RUN RUN RUN" as a civilian.

America already has 10000 murders by firearms every year. That it doesn't happen at CONVENTIONS is irrelevant. How many times have e3 been shot up?

  • @Hjernespreng I can't even tell what your point was with that. 700 untrained teenagers with no firearms on the island resulted in what actually happned. Hypotheticaly if there had been a gun that say one of the staff kept there, the situation could not have been any worse unless that staff member was also a terrorist. It could have resulted in only the death of the gun man, or the same number of deaths, but it would have offered a chance.

  • @CitrusLizard

"700 untrained teenagers with no firearms on the island resulted in what actually happned. "

Ok, FUCK YOU, I'm outta here, cunt!

  • @Hjernespreng I have no idea what you angry about with that statement. Two worlds here, one of them happned to be reality.

  • @CitrusLizard

Oh I dunno, because you blame the deaths of the massacre on Norwegian teenagers at political summer camp not being a bunch of paranoid gunslingers?

Which is basically like walking up to the people who constructed WTC and blaming the deaths of the terrorist act at them because they didn't build the towers to be as strong as the fortifications of a nuclear powerplant.

    Asshole.

  • @Hjernespreng When did I say they died because they didn't have a gun? They died because of the nut job who shot them, all I said was it is possible less would have died if someone had had the means to stop the man.

  • @Hjernespreng You`re wrong,,how could Uttoya Island have been any worse if a few staff members had been able to shoot back?

  • @ajb7876

    WHO could have!?

The ones who were greeting him with COFFEE??

    He STARTED with them!

  • @AirPanda23 - Crazy maniacs with guns kill people !!! and/or with knives/bombs/axes/chainsaws etc etc ....

  • This might be the gun I've needed heh. I'm looking for a good, all around rifle. Moving off the grid into a homestead. Want something nice for hunting miscellaneous things, and land defense (not so much home defense, as I'd prefer shotgun/handgun). Just seems like a good all around rifle.

  • @AirPanda23

The Norwegian nut chose the most vulnerable targets, kids.

  • @AirPanda23 actually it's the bullets that kill.

  • A great gun too kill teenage socialists marxist, gotta love this gun.

  • @90talisten Are you kidding me? You're rhetoric is even worse than your grammar.

  • @bigstabby

    not an english speaker..

  • @90talisten That's not the worst part.lol

  • Do the m-4 mags the army use fit in the mini-14?

  • @nosvaructu-no they look very similar but they do not work

  • I have found thermold mags to be very reliable in Bushmaster & blued min 14 as well. In fact, favorite even over magpul Pmags with the Bushy! You can rock on with thermold IMUO as I have for 12 years!

  • @AirPanda23 and actually people die more everyday from natural disasters drowning suffocating and the fact that more people die by bombings like school bombings and gang members normally kill people with bats or melee yes the still use a gun but normally would beat the living shit out of people like bats because it's cheaper and less likely to be heard so they can run Scott free and also the fact that the civilians wont have guns to defend themselves from the crazed people who get them illegaly

  • I'd still go with the russian izmash saiga because of its many decades of its proven reliability/dependability on the battle field in any type of weather. Plus the affordable cost over the rest. Its surpasses the mini14 for sure. In the past the mini14 has had a lot of problems.

  • @bill154cub I forgot to add the saiga isalso accurate too. The mini 14 surely is getting some negative feed back by many here. Just because its made in the USA doesn't mean its the best quality product out there. To me its reliability, dependability and accuracy that matters plus an affordable price tag. The brand new russin izmash saiga pretty much has the market sewed up.

  • @taag7293 "I know, but why don't they sell this chambering the 7.62mm?". They do......it is called the Mini-30 in 7.62 x 39 Russian intermediate power round. You couldn't fit a 7.62 x 51 Nato(which is a high power rifle round) in the Mini action.

  • I have owned two Ruger M14s and can say they were the most inaccurate rifles I have shot. I have built several ARs and being left handed my last one a stag left upper and spikes lower cost me all in 750.. and out shoots the Ruger by a mile. The mags are easier to find and cheaper when you do and the gun is easily fixed if parts are needed. Dump the Ruger and get a good AR and don't look back. I called Ruger on the accuracy and they gave me some crap about the dies wearing out. LOL REALLY?

  • @andoverstuck Dude they did they retooled and the new ones will put 2 inch groups at 100 yards now. I know cause i had one from the 90's and it wasn't that accurate but i just bought one last year and i could blow the titty off a turtle at 200 yards :)

  • @andoverstuck What is it about you AR guys that make you feel the need to tell everybody to "buy an AR." People know about ARs, you don't need to point out that they exist. If someone wants one, they'll buy one. Every Mini-14 video on YouTube has numerous AR guys saying, "buy an AR." Is it some type of complex you suffer from? I have a 580 series mini, and I can hit a man sized target "center mass" at 150 yards all day long. It's a practical rifle for those of us that aren't wannbe commandos.

  • @AirPanda23 As you can see, if everybody can get a gun, the maniacs get one, too. So why give everybody the opportunity to buy a gun??? How many people die in the USA because of this logic? 10000 - 12000?

  • @jojojoni

Guns are the vanguard of freedom boy , because freedom is not a right its the spoils of victory you vile liberal scum.

  • @lordtomtom Wow, you´re argument is so valid! Is liberalism something evil? beside that your lack of intelligence and your ability to form a proper argument is something you´ve to worry about!

  • @hejhejify right

  • @AirPanda23 Most stupid argument ever! It´s only replacing one evil with the other. Nobody in the free world needs guns.

  • @jojojoni

Thats is bs, you are not "free" if you are not armed and sorry pal, the US is not a free country.

No one has the right to tell me what I can own if I am not infringing on the rights of others.

Unarmed people cannot defend their rights and die.

  • Funny how this page was just invaded by left-wingers trying to politicise a tragedy.

But as they say: never let a good crisis go to waste. It was the same for them with 9/11, hurricane Katrina, and the gulf oil spill.

    Liberals are assholes.

  • Norwegian terrorist used this for killing 68 teens!

  • @mohalfur

Are you impressed with its reliability? USA makes good products indeed.

  • i have a colt 6940 AR 15 but when i got a chance to pick up a mini 14 for 500$ i jumped at the chance. the mini 14 is a lot of fun to shoot. great weapon

  • i am 12 and i now almost evrything of firearms from 9x19mm acp to .50

  • The man who killed 94 kids in Norway used this weapon!

  • @Morten2ela It wasn't 94 kids, get your facts straight!

  • @bendikn 97 people most of them between th age of 18-21

  • @sc3nt360 7 of which was killed by a bomb and was adults

  • @Morten2ela 97, most of them between the age of 18-21

  • @sc3nt360 Well, I live 30 minutes away from the island, two of my friends died, they were 15 and 16, and by the laws, kids. Now, I rather believe in what I have seen while I was helping picking up kids in the water, rather what some foreign media say. This was a camp for people, mainly 18-

  • @Morten2ela Im sorry for your loss.

  • aks are cheaper lol but i still love the mini

  • is the mini 14 more powerful than the 22

  • looks like an m1 carbine :D

  • @rod3067 its a scaled down M14, hense the "Mini" in its name. Love it, nothing beats that classic clanking action.

  • @19Kettle93 yeah, i love how old rifles look so that's why it's mini14 hehe never thought of that, still i wish guns were allowed for civil use in my country :( damn druglords.

  • @rod3067 NOOOO! Move to the US, I think were having some kind of work visa/ free rifle deal going on right now (just don't come to California!).

  • @19Kettle93 actually it is my idea tha as soon as i finish college i'll move to the u.s. (i'd like to seattle what do you say?) and how's that work visa/free rifle deal you talk about?

  • @rod3067 Well, from what I know Washington's state gun laws weren't too restrictive. However, as more and more Californians fill the state who knows. States Illinois, Wisconsin, and Cali you want to aviod for sure. As for the visa thing I wish it was true, sorry to put your hopes up. For a good value starter rifle though, look into the Kel-Tec SU-16 line, they're a little cheaper and take AR15 magazines (but ultimately is not as durable or satisfying to play with)

  • @19Kettle93 hehe no problem, well obviously i'm planning to move for many other reasons than just firing guns :D by the way, i have this doubt, do naturalized american citizens have the same rights when it comes to gun laws? i mean can a naturalized citizen get a gun as easy as a native?

  • @rod3067 I'm not really to certain, however in my experience in Ohio, at the local shops I can pick up a rifle and on the paper work all that is needed is proof that I'm a true US citizen. Often at times also I'll buy used from forum friends and local friends too.

  • Never owned one and Never wanted one anyhoo. There track record isn't that good. Get the brand new russian izhmash saiga in 223, in 308 and in 7,62x39 its a better quality rifle.

  • @bill154cub What a stupid statement. You've never owned one, and you've never wanted one, but you're going to pass judgement on it? What do you mean the track record isn't good? Mini-14's are one of the most popular and biggest selling rifles in North America. If they had a poor track record, this wouldn't be the case. Oh, but then you're going to tell us to buy russian. Russian products are known for their quality, right? I guess you have a "izhmash," and that's why it's so good.

  • I own a mini 14...It sucks....after market mags dont work, Factory mags cost an arm and a leg. Breaking it down is a little hard...... Save up...by a AR15 type....or the good old AK

  • @Nails308 Here we go, another AR guy telling us to "buy an AR dude." Let me tell you, if you think breaking down a Mini-14 is hard, maybe you should go back to playing with your Duplo blocks.

  • @Mainsail76 I dont own a AR rifle. I wish I did. It is just my opinion. I do own a Mini 14. It isnt a bad rifle. The Mini 14 is a neat little rifle, but it has its faults. The main one is finding good after market mags. factory mags are un-godly expensive. No need to get nasty , bro. Chill.....

  • defensive needs lol , mroe liek excuse to get a gun wich will kill people , mosly innocent people , AMERICA FAIL

  • @machielste1 clap, clap, clap. great job there, buddy. go on a pro-gun video and try to troll. first, type correctly. then we will be less prone to think you're 7 years old. second, your opinions... don't matter to us. because you can protest all you want. you can bring thousands of people to our doors. but all it takes is one finger to move less than an inch to end your life. i don't think most people can see the scope(no pun intended) of the power one can hold. is used correctly.run along now.

  • @machielste1 Spelling fail. Troll fail.

  • @machielste1 My rifles are sitting quietly in the locker. I check them every month. So far they havent escaped and shot up any schools.

  • @machielste1 Wow, another 13 year old moron

  • @machielste1 Dude, watch his video "Dangerous Things" and stop being brainwashed.

  • @machielste1... more like machielste1 fail.

  • @machielste1 Your a fracking retard, guns aren't dangerous its just a matter of the moron using it. Saying gun owners are dangerous murderers or something truely shows your arrogance, thats like saying that its stupid for people to own cars because they'd be tempted to ram into idiots like you. And saying AMERICA FAIL, were do you live, because if your not a US citizen, then chances are that us gun toting hicks have saved your panzy ass nation before. YOU FAIL!

  • the mini 14 has a lot of things goin 4 it if u want a high quality asualt carbine but i stlii want a m1 garand 4 range n stopin power but the 5.56 is that i think is only 4 a target rifle n the 5.56 is just a realy expensife 22. mag.

  • @TheRussinsRcomeing M1 FTW!!!!!!!

  • hello, I am new to guns and I am wondering.. do you prefer the mini 14 or the 10/22? Which one is better for home defense, hunting? Also, which one is quieter? This is important to me since I live in a place where I wouldn't want to bother the neighbors more than I have to. Thank you.

  • @zeppguitarded 10/22 is quite (being .22 LR.), although you can shoot the 10/22 a lot (ammo is really cheap.) it cannot kill humanly kill anything bigger than a squirrel. Your best bet for home defense is a .12 gauge loaded with buck. Because 10/22 will look bad in courts/get you killed. The mini 14 would over penetrate (the .223 will go through dry walls like butter.) and may kill or wound your neighbors. The best bet for hunting would be a nice, sturdy bolt action (Remington 700.)

  • @kop4321 how would the 10/22 look bad in courts/get you killed? I love that about the .22 LR is that the ammo is so cheap. Most importantly thank you very much for responding.

  • @zeppguitarded Because to kill with body shots you would have to shoot him a lot. Even if you get him in the face once, it may not even penetrate the front of the skull. .22lr is to weak and small to be a useful weapon cartridge, regardless of what some people say. Don't get me wrong, its great for hunting small animals and having fun shooting.

  • @kop4321 Now I thought that .22 was the "assassins choice," because it penetrates skulls and doesn't exit. It just turns the brain into mush while bouncing around on the inside of the head, right? Hmm. I was also turned on to the 10/22 because it is apparently very easy to take care of. If I want to have a hunting rifle, a home defense rifle, and nice gun to shoot around with, Would you reccomend a 10/22 or a nice bolt action rifle. I'd like it to be fairly cheap. Thanks.

  • @zeppguitarded Well, home defense isn't about assassination. Its a hard question to answer, as you cannot test a gun out before you buy it. I would check out different shotguns, different rifles, and pistols, get as much info and reviews in from different sources before buying.

  • @zeppguitarded I wouldn't even consider a rifle for "home" defense. If you are intending to defend against an intruder inside your home go shotgun or handgun (handgun for HD should be at least 9mm for semi/.38 for revolver). A rifle is a better option when you have land to defend. 22LR is too placement dependent to stop a human target, better than nothing but I wouldn't stake my life on it.

  • @DspecDJ Yeah, I mean, you don't want to accidentally shoot the walls and find out later that your RIFLE bullets went through your childs bedroom at night. Rifle for home defense is a bad idea.

  • @DspecDJ better to hit with a .22 than miss with a .45. more people have been killed by .22 than any other caliber in history ;) but i see your point

  • @DspecDJ If someone stood up after being shot by a .223 and wanted to get shot again they're out of their mind. If that same person survived 20 of those shots, then you don't need another gun, you need to leave because Superman is breaking in to your house. Any bullet can kill someone, and I sure wouldn't underwrite the .22, it's actually the highest fatality related round out there. The point is, use the gun you're good with, and it'll do it's job unless you're up against a grizly bear.

  • @CitrusLizard I'm on board with what you're saying, I think my comment was more "ideal scenario" than anything else. In my ideal scenario of defense I will have a rifle to defend land, a shotgun for the home, and a pistol as a backup for any situation. If .22 is the closest thing to me you can bet I'll be sending a poop storm of .22 at an intruder. I shoot .22lr more than anything else, I just hope that should the time to defend my self or my family come, I have a larger caliber ready to go.

  • @DspecDJ Idealy I want an 150mm howitzer if anyone could face that and not turn running then they deserve anything in my house.

  • @CitrusLizard got a mop to clean him up?

  • @DspecDJ I'm hoping he just gets vaporized so I can open a few windows and air the house out.

  • people every one is safe in her house, so in zombie atack go to her's home

    Good job

  • Hey nutn whats your suggestion for a very good ar-15 thanks

  • One of the best things about the Mini-14 was the Rotating bolt.

  • what is the best slug amo for my 12 gage for bear protection?

  • @taag7293 Springfield. Norinco (not for sale in U.S.A due to import bans on Chinese weapons.) and a few others tbh, just google it.

  • @taag7293 Because a ton of other companies do that already and it probably would not be the venture into the market?

  • @taag7293 Because the m14 already does that?

  • @kop4321 Almost all semi-auto rifles... turns out the legislators here put the M1 garand under its own category, because it is a 'historical firearm', and so you can have all 8 of your .30-06 / .308win. Is it a wieldy weapon? Perhaps not. But I'm sure it'll serve us proudly nonetheless.

  • WTF does this fat fuck mean by, sheep dog?? You calling the public sheep you fucking turd...

  • @afghooey He explains in another video, search "sheepdog nutnfancy"

  • THE 4TH AMENDMENT HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIANA.

  • @C172Pilotdude True story, no one gives a fuck about the constitution. Especially not the police I've gotten cuffed and my shit gone through, over a turn signal out. despite my protest they went through my shit any way, and found nothing none, the less FUCK THAT SHIT..

  • Nutn, you are dildos.

  • Nice review..how many mini 14's do you own?

  • I'm sorry but I don't think 7 3/4 LBs is a heavy Rifle.

  • Im moving to the mountains where bears are. I own a mossburg 930. Is that good enough or is a mini 14 better if i had to use it on a bear.

  • @bigpoppa1951

If your going to kill the bear use your 930 and buy some solid slugs and aim for the face.

  • I'm getting a job at McDonalds just to buy the Ruger Mini -14, and I'm only 14. Oh God I hope I get this job.

  • The A-TEAM (original, with MR T) used mini's, so they have to be good.

  • @craigmancool Thats why they shot a 1000 rounds out of them and never hit anyone haha

  • I am happy you chose to review the Mini-14, I am most likely to buy this rifle as my first 5.56mm rifle. Around here I can get a brand new one in the low $600 range, while my dream AR-15 made by BCM cost about $1100-$1200 before FFL. Plus it's a flaptop so I still got to pay more just to get some irons. Question, is the .223 Mini-14 rated to handle the 5.56mm round? I plan on feeding mine everything from steel cased Wolf up to Lake City mil-spec 5.56 rounds so this is important for me.

  • @chrisloUSA No, you can shoot.233 through a 5.56 gun fine enough, but the other way around can damage the gun/cause problems. May even lead to a catastrophic failure in time, why? Military rifles have looser tolerances than civilian guns do, and the 5.56 is a higher pressure round.

  • @kop4321

Oh I am aware of those facts but all Mini-14's have .223 printed on them but not 5.56. So because of those facts I want to be sure the Mini-14 will feed 5.56 ammo safely.

  • it's much a look-alike m14. is it just me, or is it really a "mini m14 style gun"?

  • @raappeli The Ruger Mini-14 is a "miniaturized" M-14 Battle Rifle. In fact if you look at a M-14 Battle Rifle, you will notice that it is a blow-back operated weapon that incorporates the M1 Garand style semi auto action. The Mini 14 incorporates that same Garand action like the M-14. It is just simply a smaller M-14 and that is why it is called the "Mini"

  • I used a ATI Strikeforce on my 581 model and it didnt work. check out my video

    and ill tell you why

  • "cilivian sheep dog" nice

  • i so want one of these

  • nuthinfancy please do a review of the LWRC M6 A2 or A1

and the name is that guy you dont agree with

    and its a 6.8 SPC AR-15

  • i think they were called the ranch rifle first and there home was a scabbard on a horseback in the day

  • i threw my five round magazine away after i shot it...now i wish i hadnt because it would of been useful getting three round groupings from the bench. the longer 20 and thirty round mags interfere with bench shooting. so if you have any extra five round mags can you mail me one?

  • What purpose does that plastic thing on the top right side of the barrel?

  • @jackalow13

It makes shure you don't bbash up your hand when the rifle cycles.
