This episode is just to ironic with gary Clark (the shooting) and how derek says if anythings happens to him (he got shot) and then about the babies (the miscarriage)

@TheYael1995 she may have been pregnant then, but she lost the baby in the season finale, with all the stress she was under with derek being shot. it was so sad :'(

@EEEfa4815 Well the actors are contrated for 8 seasons, meaning 8 series for you. If the actors decide to leave when their contract is up, then Mer and Der charaters would end. I hopefully they'll stay longer

@EEEfa4815 EP+PD are signed up for season 8. I'm in the UK , Grey's Gabble and TV Fanatic Grey's Anatomy are good sites to look at for info on what's happening. There are plans for GA to be like ER and just carry on indefinately. But once MerDer leave it won't be the same But Shonda Rhimes says GA don't do babies. But here's hoping
