Right now, full inquires are underway to find out what happened and to prevent it from ever happening again. The Border Agency released a report earlier this week, and changes have already been made in its policies nation wide.

Actually, translators are needed at international airports. This is why they are employed by the Canadian Immigration to assist new immigrants like Mr. Dziekanski, in completing necessary paper work to enter Canada. It's a real shame that no one was able to get a translator for Mr. Dziekanski before the confrontation with the cops. Getting a translator or simply helping him to find his mother would have made all the difference.

Mr. Dziekanski's mother waited many hours for him at the airport. In that time she repeatedly tried to find out where her son was. Amazingly, no one at the airport was kind enough to move their fat ass and look for Robert. It's even more disturbing that they finally told Robert's mother that her son never arrived, even though he wasn't too far away. They were just too fuckin lazy to check where he was.
