Men and women DEFINITELY get treated differently. I know I am a female to male transman. I have live as a man for about 5 years now. I have been on testosterone now for 2 and a half years. I have been both sides of the fence. Things are UNBELIEVABLY different. I am MUCH happier being myself. I was miserable living as a a female.
Well an answer to the question on how men are treated differently than women would be "how the fuck did Jerry Springer get to host a tv show anyways?! Such a priviliged, patriarchal, white man, fatherfucking jerk."
Very interesting. There's all these little everyday nuances you don't think about and I can imagine it would be very liberating. As someone that has problems with assertiveness, this makes me want to give crossdressing a try. XD
Sloane is right :/ I tried dressing up as a guy xD Then I went made a fake account and logged into a chatroom--was a bit unnerving, because I was scared of being accused of being a perv (Girls can generally talk like that a little easier...)
@sloaneVLOGS What are you, in the 50's? If you arent an assertive woman you get hosed! Maybe it's jut where I live but here you sink or swim, there's none of that stupid oh please can I go to brooklyn shit. It's take me to brooklyn. NOW. And if he says he don't go to brooklyn you say, you are today!
The girl in the middle (Tracy) is gorgeous, and if it weren't for their voices they could pass as guys. This is interesting, I think the 90s was more feminist than now. This whole thing has a very c. 1994 Reality Bites vibe to it. The show was transitional then...still serious, but Jerry was becoming more casual.

This is way back in the day before they had fights, chair throwing medlees, racists, strippers, people taking clothes off, and Steve Wilkos.

Silly Jerry. If women acted more assertive like he says, people would just think they're a bitch.

I'd never tell a woman to smile, I would do it like this:
"let's put a smile on that face" - the joker
