@jbmoosic Don't listen to him, he's young and probably doesn't know how to tune them. Look up video's from Ray Luzier or people that know how to tune their drums that play ddrum and you'd be able to tell that they are great kits. And yours will sound just as good if tuned well. A Tama or pearl will sound like shit if not tuned right as well.

@dkrr24 You can't believe the Ray Luzier video as they used Pro Tools and overly engineered all of his drums. If you buy new heads and tune them, they still won't sound like the ones in Ray's video.

Nice kit bro! Sounds great even with stock heads on it. Try some Evans EC2 clear. They would make that kit pop really nice. Did you ever get new cymbals to replace the ones your bro busted? Keep on rockin!

@mattdeloff33 thanks! I already got some Remo Pinstripes, for all the toms, and an Emperor X for the snare. I replaced them with Zildjian A Customs. its an even nicer kit now.

@JacobStaben yes i would. i would also check out the ddrum dominion ash pocket kit. get whichever one is for your sound. those mics werent on during this video. and i just wouldn't reccomend those mics at all, they're crap. thanks!
