  • Lovely song :)

"LaurisiTa Ambient - Va Ka" check this song, it's in very similar style. I did it :)

  • I love it Sid. Great job.

  • Awesome.

  • Yep, this is indeed quite Steve Roach like. Love it.

  • sounds superb! I like it a lot

  • I enjoyed this--very Brian Eno influenced though Sid, but no bad thing.

  • @MrDaiseymay Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. It's actually more Robert Fripp, David Sylvian & Steve Roach influenced. But I dig Eno too. ;-)

  • Excellent, Sid!

  • Prachtig!!

  • You shouldn't recommend listening to this when one is not in a good mood. It sounds annoying. Well... You asked for it.

  • @m36705 That's a really silly and pointless comment

  • It was also unsolicited. Now he knows not to send someone something for evaluation or praise when someone clearly expressed that he is not in a good mood.

  • @m36705 ---well don't then--go lie down in a dark room !

  • @MrDaiseymay Well. the composer was clearly informed during a FB chat that I was not having a good day and a film producer took my money and did not deliver my film print. He sent me this link. I listened to it (as a courtesy) and gave him my honest opinion of what I heard. If criticism is not welcomed. Be a closet composer. It was an honest response. Know the full story before saying anything. Which was why i said "You asked for it".

  • @m36705 I didn't say criticism wasn't welcome. It is. Sorry you didn't like it, but that's that. ;-) I respect your opinion. Good luck with the film btw. Hope things will work out eventually.

  • Wow goosebumps… Gently, beautifully variegated and subtle in the transitions.

I feel myself emotional strongly affected by this score. Luckily the music don't dictated the way I 'need to' feel.

Siddartha Barnhoorn leaves a lot of space for my own interpretations, wonder and amazement.

It takes real craftsmanship to recognize and respect this delicate balance between the composer and the listener.

The Pillars of Light makes me very curious to his upcoming solo album.

  • That´s amazing, Sid! I really like it :-))
