Today most movies and games for consoles are in 16:9, so when you have an 16:10 monitor or TV, you will get black edges at the top and bottom, both 60 pixels (don't know if you r smart enough 2x60=120)

its up to you really but xbox is much much better online but ps3 graphics are slightly better if you have a full hd tv but i would go for the 360 elite. Another thing i was used to the ps2 controller but now i would never use a sony ps2/3 controller again because they dont feel as comfortable as the 360 one.lastly i dont know why the hell sony added six-axis to the controller because it's crap!!!!
