This rich kid who doesn't care about money wants to win the tournament so he goes and buys CCM.

Then he kills the LGD buy buying out 4/5 of the team, there by stacking CCM and eliminating a competitor.

@usernamepl0xx: keeping noobs out would be killing the purpose of Mentor System where veterans can coach newbies with mock battles, interactive guides, and VOIP. Plus, if your mentoring is highly rated, you will get some in game bonuses. Red up on the features reveals dude.

Overall, as long as matches are "ranked" with users playing people with similar ranks then I guess F2P is good, it's obviously cheaper for us lol :P But, yet again, I wouldn't mind paying if it means I get a stable, efficient game with a dedicated community.

I'm sorry, but all we want is a nice game everyone can play, pros and noobs. It's nice to have a diverse community, rather than have an abusive one like HoN.

If you want pros or noobs only, list it in the game title, but otherwise the game should be F2P and open to players of all levels.

@BlazedHearts Well, I don't believe in "shunning" noobs. A diverse community is always a good thing. I guess if there is some sort of "ranked segregation" where players with a higher rank play highly ranked players and vice-versa then it'll be perfectly fine. On the other hand, pay-to-play means more money for developers to use in improving our in-game experience, which is a really good thing.

Since Dota 2 is support by valve, they have the financial support to keep the servers stable and make new additions to the game. But the statement of keeping the noobs out isolates the game. Review back to HoN and how the community treated new comers and having the pay to play. A MOBA game needs both casual and professional gamers to thrive.
