A lich? Maybe, maybe not. I personally think a baelnorm is more likely, even if Gary's not an elf.

Archlich is the correct term for a "non-evil" lich. Baelnorn would be elven, but an Archlich can be non-evil, and a non-arcane caster, so druids and clerics are included in that as well

Thanks for the comment, mate. The thing that eats me up is that Gary lived less than 2 hours drive from my house... I could have actually gone and gamed with the guy who INVENTED D&D... and now I won't ever get to... If the funeral is open to the public, gonna definately try and get there.
