I agree with the talent that VH has but I would say that Fishbone in their day would have destroyed VH in a live performance. Now Eddie is argueably the greatest guitarist of that area but he was the talent in VH. Alex and Michael are a great rhythm section but they can't hold anything close to what Norwood Fisher and Phillip Fisher gave to us in Fishbone. The raw energy that the 80's and early 90's Fishbone that toured could easily blown anyone off the stage.

But if you are going to compare them to bands of another style, you could mention everyone from Little Richard to The Ramones.
