Don't worry about ppl. I am black and I recently have gone back to my natural hair. Self-hate runs deep with the black community and the hair issue is only a tiny tip of the ice-berg. There seems to be this idea that some black people have that if you're not black, your observations about the black community are somehow irrelevant. That because you're not black, your eyes and common sense must be lying to you. They'll usually use that argument when you've said something that's TRUE but they don't want to hear!! One of the things that holds black people back is that we feel that everything we do must be limited to our own culture So they're trying to hold you to that standard.
