  • bitch at the end looks like a old louie bag gross leather skin as bitch RON PAUL 2012 ALL RON PAUL SUPPORTERS STAND AND AND DO WHAT U CAN DONATE HOLD A SIGN INFORM PEOPLE HIS POLICIES WE CAN DO THIS AMERICA

  • @twosevenboy Not just that we need to make sure everyone knows that when primary elections come up everyone needs to vote for those cause if he dosent win primary election he wont be able to run for president not saying you dont know but alot of people think only presidential elections count.....everyone needs to be aware of there states primary election schedules and vote RON PAUL

  • For once Ron Paul doesn't sound like a right winged nut job and speaks logic. There's nothing wrong with marijuana, it's a harmless drug, and although I support a strong federal government involved with its people, the government, hell, NO ONE should have the right to say what you can and can't do to your own body. Grown adults should be able to choose whether or not to take the risk of drugs.

  • I can't believe people are still using that claim.

That, "These people go to drug treatment facilities for help." It's not "help" it's force.

If you're given an option to "get treatment" or jail, which are you going to choose?

Even despite this RIDICULOUS notion. 12.4 percent of our federal prisons and 12.7 percent of our state prisons are filled with marijuana users. So her statement, is in fact, just false.

  • Jeanine Pirro, She is a Roman Catholic, Scare tactics ,I've smoked weed for a long time , freedom of speech and choice for all! Guard your border's and look after your own don't isten to the D.A................. fuck all law

  • She is wrong on lots of things. But I wanna say something about the statement she made about heroin useage in the Netherlands. She said the use of heroin tripled after legalizing Marijuana. That is a lie. Heroin usage fell to the floor after legalizing, so did border traffic of drugs. Now they have a controlled drug-program.. I think we (as human beings, not just american) need to think differently about the whole drug problem. What we are doing now is not working, lets try something new.

  • is she serious????....

  • This lady is ridiculously impervious of the affects of weed. No one can compare crack to weed? then the other chick has completly debatable flaws in her argument. Tax Weed and help our economy

  • im taking a hit while watching this.lol.

  • Marijuana is bad for you, but its healthy to join the military and fight the Iraq/Afghan War? Cut me a break dude, its the stoners who preach and talk about peace. Its these politicians who conduct acts of war. I'll smoke weed b4 I join the military because I'm smart enough to know which one is safer dispite what these so called politicians say :)

  • i'm in my second stage of joining the army and its really funny that i don't get tested for alcohal (which makes u into a fucking retard) and salvia (which make in into a total fucking retard) but god forbid i get a little giggly and hungry for 20-30 minutes

  • I managed to get away with it for quite some time....plenty tricks!

  • please do share goddamnit, u will be my hero

  • you know, sometimes vegetarians talk about eating meat in this way too,..

my point is i dont think we should make something illegal just cause some people dont like it.

i think fox news is dangerous and idiotic, maybe it shuold be censored, how do ya feel about that?

  • haha I just remembered this vid.

Have a look at RonPaulHatesBlacks' comments. I like how this sad little person runs into videos with Ron Paul in them and makes all kinds of fallacious arguments...then eventually it becomes clear that he has no clue what he's talking about so he uses his other youtube accounts to rate comments "thumbs down" several times over so that people wont see the responses where someone shuts him down and proves what an idiot he is.

    lol Wow

  • lol ron paul is a stoner.... and that bitch at the end is fuckin stupid... "gateway drug" prove it, i want some hard evidence..

  • If our government is financing a war the will never have a result (like war on drug) ,it's actually how they would prefer.

Prohibition of anything is usually never for the well being of most people.

    It's about profit and control.

  • The reason the Govt doesnt like drugs, is because people dont pay taxes on it! if they got money out of it, they wouldnt care.

    Assholes.

  • Its fox news people, what do you expect. Of course they're going to give Dr Paul 30 seconds to vaguely explain his facts then give some "judge" all the time in the world to spin his words around and leave him without a chance to explain.. people who think marijuana is the enemy are even dumber than they accuse the people who use it of being

  • Wow if you're so god damn worried about the effects on the brain, maybe we should ban fluride-laced water...

  • that lady talking on the later half of the video made a hypocritical point. She said that marijuana was dangerous, so she is hinting at the point that she would rather have an unregulated "dangerous" substance than have the government legalize it and be able to at least mildly regulate it.

Too many times have i seen/heard of people being hospitalized not because of the drugs themselves but the fact that since its unregulated u can cram as much crap as u want in it and sell it on the street.

  • Wow, I can't believe people think that. Where did the cocaine thing come from? Ron Paul didn't say anything about cocaine... where did she get that from?

  • I think they were trying to bait him into saying something... As long as you realize that there's a difference between "hard" drugs, like coke, meth, heroin etc - which have been found to hurt other people and/or the users - and "soft" drugs, like marijuana, psilobycin (shrooms) which do not harm other people or the user.

Check out the way the Dutch look at drugs :)

  • University of Michigan reported in 1996 that 45% of US HS students have smoked weed at least once. Meanwhile, 30% of the Dutch HS students in Holland have smoked weed at least once. The jump of marijuana consumption in Holland was caused by the introduction of the drug in 1960s, but since the late 70s the growth flattened out.

Once again, Faux News has delivered...on the te-lie-vision.

  • Marijuana is a gateway drug *because* they've lumped it in with hard drugs like cocaine & meth.

It's not even close to being the same thing.

  • There is no such thing as marijuana being a "gateway drug". Typical propaganda.

  • "Legalize pot, but if you touch crack cocaine then thats ok too"

What a stupid bitch. People are so far out in left field these days.

  • Another case of Paul supporters attacking and insulting women. It's no wonder he's a fringe candidate. No sane woman would ever vote for him.

  • gateway drug?

    what about TOBACCO?

    or ALCOHOL????

those are the REAL gateway drugs...

    SO FUCK THAT FOX BITCH!!!

  • C This vid made me sOOoOoOo wet LOL 6

  • I enjoy this video =) it makes me really horny!!

  • another case of stupid bitches on fox

  • Another case of Paul supporters attacking and insulting women rather than addressing the message.

  • getting thrown in jail for getting high is ridiculous. and this lady is very selective on the statistics she uses. Canada is doing just fine with legal marijuana as is Norway

  • norway doesnt have ligal marijuana

  • Drug rehab huh?? I went to jail for 60 days and paid $4500 for having a 1.5 ounces with no prior convictions?? That lying whore!! When do you ever hear that a High person on marijuana killed a family by smoking and driving?? Never! Its more money for the government if they arrest us, and less for the drug companies if they legalize it cause it cures nausea, headaches, help chemo patients eat and is a anti-depresent. Plus you can grow it so they cant tax it!! Fuck our government and the leaders!!

  • this is coming from a guy whos name is ronpaulhatesblacks, what a joke, its obv not a gate way drug, and what she about amserdam isnt true, look it up, lies and bullshit, the us gov is a joke

  • Ron Paul should avoid Fox altogether... they try to set him up and trash him. Jeanine Pirro is a loud mouth cunt.

  • Nobody censored you, jackass. Nobody barred you from posting comments on Youtube or any other forum, although Lord knows we'd all be better off if you were banned. Look up "censor" in a dictionary before you use word, and spare us your misplaced self-righteousness.

  • Fox news are IDIOTS!

  • Another great grab off the boobtube for benefit of we on YouTube. Thanks for ScaningTheWaves.

  • The people Should NEVER fear their government, the government BETTER fear The People. Also this BITCH who opposes on this video is Ignorant and has NO credible arguement for marijuana criminalzation. If you elimate the black market on pot then people wouldn't have to go to the same places where you buy heroin and crack to buy your grass. pro-hibition does not and has never worked, just created more crime.

  • The government has no right to tell ME what i can or can't put into my own body EVER! Not if I am not endangering ANYONE!

  • That lady at the end used the typical cannabis prohibitionist misinformation. I find it funny how they bring up the stats. about Alaskan cannabis use being higher than national adverage. Could it be that Alaska has different geological and climate conditions than most of the US. The state spends entire winters in complete darkness and entire summers with light 24 hours a day. Could that be a reason alone for higher averages? Last time I checked Alsaka had higher alcohol use/abuse avgs. too

  • I also like how she mentioned treatment for those caught with cannabis. Judges sending those arrested for cannabis possesion to treatment has two unintended consequences to an other wise "compassionate" decision. One it inflates treatment rates, 50% of those in treatment for cananbis are there because of a court order, 1/3 of those in treatment have not used cannabis in the month prior to enrolment. The consequence of this is that these higher treatment statistics are used to justify arrest.

  • well said. cheers!!

  • Alaska teens used pot 3x's than the national average? I bet the State crime rate went down too.

  • that ms. FAUX NEWS analyst lady is a goddamn moron. obviously she can't or doesn't read. because all she has to do is pick up any major medical science journal from the past 15 years to be brought up to date from the fucking 1930's. it is not a gateway drug. and if anybody who smokes reefer starts using any other drugs, it is because the drug dealer they HAVE to get it from sells some other illicit drugs. and how dare that goddamn fox news bitch compare cannabis to fucking crack. what a fool.

  • Yeah they definitely get treatment. If you consider Treatment seizure of your home and other belongings. By the time you get out of prison you have nowhere to go and your life has been basically ruined. It's the tough reality. Only way to combat the federal government is to revolt, but because of the dangerous pharmaceuticals that are given to us our minds are numbed so that we do not realize the truth.

  • the key point about the lady she's described here as a "former judge" now i wonder why...

  • Well, you could look it up. She left the bench to run for (and win) the elected position District Attorney of Westchester County. Nothing unusual there.

  • Why do we need to stop people using marijuana? We sell alcohol and cigarettes, we sell pharmaceutical drugs that are awfully destructive to the human mind and the human body. Why are we banning something that has useful purposes? Why do we not let people decide? Do we really need to be told what to do on issues that have no effect on anyone else? What happened to liberty?

  • cigs are more dangerous than weed

i kno ppl that a lot of weed, heck i got a cuzin thats in yale law school right now and he smokes a lot of fucking weed...how the fuck does weed alter memory or w/e the FUCK she was sayin

  • cigarettes are more dangerous than cannabis, as a matter of fact. go look up any studies done by Dr. Dennis Tashkin. the results of one of his studies concluded that smoking cannabis DOES NOT cause lung or throat cancer. but cigarettes do.

  • So? Do you want to prohibit cigarettes?

  • oh, it's you. if need be, i can prove the benefitting medicinal qualities of cannabis. and i promise you, they are way more benefitting to you than cigarettes or alcohol. yet the later 2 are widely accepted and tolerated. oh, and legal. buddy, if you take the time to read any modern research done on cannabis in the past 15 years, it would probably change your mind about the plant. it is a PLANT. a FLOWER. the most unique flower at that. and i just don't believe in a war on flowers.

  • Opium's a flower, too. Do you think heroin should be legal?

Do you seriously think alcohol and tobacco are "widely accepted and tolerated?" Ahahahahaha!! We've barred cigarettes from airplanes, hospitals, restaurants, bars, movies, shops, stores, and some public parks, and we've taxed it almost to death. And we fucking PROHIBITED alcohol!! If neither substance existed, and were both created tomorrow, we would prohibit both!

  • heroin is less addictive and less dangerous than the Methodone they prescribe to people to get them off of heroin. you are obviously still living in the 1920's. prohibition DID NOT WORK!!!! in case you didn't get that memo. and your little cigarette bans you are referring to are really just limited to major cities. i can't go anywhere around the area i live in and find a place where somebody isn't smoking. and herb isn't heroin. heroin is a plant derivative. not the actual plant. keep it comin.

  • You didn't answer the question. Do you think heroin should be illegal?

Prohibition for alcohol did not work. You've never proven it hasn't worked for MJ, or that it's worse than the alternative.

You missed the point. Alcohol and tobacco are bad substances, and we would prohibit them if we could.

I wish I could be 22 and literally know everything on Earth, and not have to go to school, read a book, or listen to anything anyone else had to say.

  • and i'm not going to answer it. because i've never done heroin. so i can't tell you anything about other than some facts i've read about it. if were discovered to have some type of benefit, then maybe i would try it. and then i would be better suited to answer your question. on to cannabis. you have yet to hear my claims for cannabis legalization. it's a victimless act. it overcrowds jails with non violent people and wastes valuable time, money, and resources of our government. & there is more.

  • You can't speak to heroin because you've never done it? I've never murdered anyone, but I feel pretty safe in saying it should be illegal. Why are you ducking the question?

If MJ has proven medical benefits, then it could be tightly regulated as a prescription drug, like morphine and methadone. There are already synthetic cannabinoids on the Schedule II list.

It's not a victimless crime. Drivers, doctors, employees, teachers, parents, and kids ought not to be stoned.

  • now you're trying to compare a few illegal substances to murdering a human being??? what kind of fucked up logic is that. you my friend must bathe in rhetoric. and the prescription drug industry is one of the most dangerous entities on earth. do you know the people who die from prescription drugs has increased about 40% over the past 5 years. about 20,000 people in the U.S. die from prescription drug overdose. cannabis is one of the most benign substances known to man.

  • I never compared any substances to murder. Are you fucking retarded? I said you're an idiot for saying you couldn't support a ban on heroin unless you had done it. Why are you still ducking the question?

People smoke crack to feel better after a bad day, too. Is that medicating? Should that be legal? If you need medication, go see a real doctor and get a prescription. Why should society legalize your preferred method of self-medicating?

If MJ is "benign," why not let doctors smoke?

  • you're like a fucking rhetoric machine gun. you DID compare murder to substances. you asked the same exact question for both of them and expected me to agree with you. and as of right now, no i don't think heroin should be legal. but i don't think poppy should be illegal. but nobody is making a case for heroin though. i said cannabis. you chose to bring in all these unrelated subjects into the conversation. and NOBODY smokes crack to feel better. they smoke crack because they are addicted to it.

  • and nobody smokes crack to feel better after a bad day. they smoke crack to get rid of withdrawal symptoms. and as far as the pharmaceutical companies go, THEY'RE POISONING THE FUCKING WORLD!!! and it's not society that should legalize it. it's just the govt. needs to quit sticking it's nose into matters it has no business policing. the decision should be left up to the states. it should really be left up to every free born american whether they want to ingest cannabis in a responsible manner.

  • Wow, you might be legally retarded. People don't smoke crack to feel good? People only smoke it to "get rid of withdrawal symptoms"? Withdraw from what? Ahahahahahahaha!!!

  • you are a fucking moron if you think people smoke crack for a therapeutic purpose. it is you who are fucking retarded because you use catch phrases and loaded questions to make your arguments. i can present FACTS to back my stance all day long. nobody comes home from a day at the office and says, "You know what, i needs a pinch of crack to take the edge off." and i guarantee you will never see a case of a cannabis consumer out robbing, sucking cock, and killing folks to by a 20 sack. DUMBASS!!

  • and everybody who is responsible enough to smoke a joint and not eat the fridge SHOULD!!!! it's not that doctors and lawyers and teachers shouldn't toke up, it's that there is a time and place for everything. i didn't say make joint rolling a classroom art project. if a person wants to light up on their own time and money, i see no problem with it. if i'm down and depressed say for example my dog died. if i smoke a jay and it makes me feel better, how is that not medicating? keep crucifying.

  • RPHB, if doctors, drivers, and others in a professional setting are using cannabis at and while working that is an irresponsible use of cannabis and will be punished the same as we punish those who get buzzed before or at work with alcohol. What we do not do is use police and court resources to prosecute those who are adults using alcohol responsibly in their own home. The same logic should be applied to cannabis, have any other strawmen you want set on fire?

  • Also RPHB, the opium poppy is legal to grow in your garden, it is just the mass cultivation and preparation/extraction of it's active ingredients for use or sale that is illegal.

That is also beside the fact that you are comparing cannabis, a substance about as addictive as caffeine to higly addictive narcotic opiates.

  • That's only our policy on alcohol because prohibition didn't work, and resulted in organized crime. If alcohol never existed, and was first created today, it would be illegal. It's a historical mandate rather than a sound policy. And you don't understand the term "strawman."

  • But I never said any of that. You said MJ was "benign," not me. Now you seem to recognize that it's not benign at all, and should be illegal for large groups of people. Which is it? Is it bad for you, or "beneficial." You haven't cited a fact yet, and I'm still waiting for a list of the substances that people withdraw from by smoking crack.

  • I assumed you were the same person, posting under different names. Sorry. It's "per se," not "per say." And it makes more sense to prohibit MJ entirely than to legalize it and then try to impose all the civil and criminal sanctions you contemplate. Our system for dealing with alcohol sucks, but we're stuck with it since legal alcohol predated the nation and prohibition failed. There's no good reason to voluntarily choose that for MJ.

  • The ENTIRE war on drugs costs $10 billion a year. Try another one. And even at that price it's a hell of a lot better than the alternative. Cocaine and heroin come from a plant, too--what the fuck does that have to do with anything?

  • But you're not arguing for the legalization of medicinal MJ, you're arguing for complete legalization. Those are two different things. You want to smoke weed whenever you feel like it without the police hassling you (not that they ever do, anyway), and let society bear the consequences. So don't talk to me about medical conditions and HIV/AIDS, because you don't give a shit. You just want society to bless your use of what's supposed to be an anti-establishment drug.

  • you are King Strawman as far as i am concerned. just to prove my point, you have the most biased, taken out of context videos in your favorites.. your favs really do show how intelligent you really are. you need to think for yourself. and quit letting them PROGRAM you.

  • there are also numerous scientifically proven medical uses for the plant. recent studies have shown cannabis to effectively alleviate symptoms in diseases such as: continued belowVVVV

  • Alzheimer's, Glioma, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Addiction,Arthritis, Appetite Loss, Nausea, Cancer Chemotherapy, AIDS Wasting Syndrome, Nausea From Cancer, Chemotherapy, Glaucoma, Depression, Parkinson's Disease, Movement Disorders, Dystonia, Asthma, Brain Injury/Stroke, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Depression, Mental Illness, Epilepsy, Fibromyalgia, High Blood Pressure/Hypertension, Migraine, Nail Patella Syndrome, Schizophrenia, & Tourette's Syndrome.

  • now how could you say know to something as beneficial as cannabis????? also, smoking it is not the only way to consume it. you can eat. and you can vaporize it. you can even make little tinctures with it. it's people like you that are putting the limits to this plant, when in reality it has none. educate yourself, fool!!

  • had a freudian slip on that last one. that know=NO!!!!

  • LMFAO ron paul made sizzurp wit codiene

  • oh and alcohol doesn't alter functions? dumb bitch!

  • Support HR-5842 & 5843!

Legalize the Leaf of Peace, the Bud of Love.

  • hell yes!!!!!!!!

  • brah why all the arueging,

    LEGALIZE IT!

  • The legal analyst says the issue is about how dangerous the drug is. She is wrong. The ISSUE is who should regulate it. The federal government is NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED (by the Constitution) to do most of what it does today. Paul's point is that we have a lot of layers of government -- the feds cannot (legally) and should not be involved in every aspect of our lives.

  • the bitch goes on about how it messes with your head (isn't that the point?)... doesn't religion fuck you head up more? lol

  • There are alot of so called legal drugs already out there that also effects the brain badly. Moral/Legal issue ? Jailtime for possesion ????

  • Yeah, I can't turn on my TV or open my local paper without seeing another report on delinquent teens hopped up on nutmeg.

  • Point is that substances are judged on their benefits and harms to society. Nutmeg has a legitimate use as a food spice. It also poses a risk since that it can give you a mild and unpleasant reaction 6 hours after you take too much of it. In prisons, the harm outweigh the benefit and it's prohibited. In mainstream society, it does not, and is legal.

Comparing MJ to nutmeg is idiotic because the harms and benefits are so widely dissimilar.

  • Actually, it was a "comparison" because you took dissimilar items and identified their single likeness or similarity. A "contrast" reveals the striking differences in facially similar items. Like MJ versus hemp, which some people believe are identical.

And it's a stupid fucking comparison because the power of the psychoactives is not the sole reason MJ is illegal. If it were, lots of benign substances would be illegal, and absurd and nonexistent result.

A little more school might help.

  • It has to do with the larger point, which is that marijuana is illegal, and should remain so. Your anger takes a unique form--you love delving into back-and-forth squabbles over word choice and what precisely someone said, while completely missing the real point. You've still articulated no reason for legalizing MJ. Your attempted nutmeg comparison failed miserably in that regard. Back to school for you!

  • Maybe you're confused. I'm the one arguing that marijuana should remain illegal. Well, me and two-thirds of Americans, according the latest poll. Me and the 2/3 are discussing the point of the video.

You're the dickhead holding firm to completely irrelevant points, like nutmeg being a psychoactive. Nobody has bothered to dispute that, because nobody gives a shit. You can ride that fucker 'til the cows come home, little man. In the meantime, though, it's never to late to open a biology book!

  • LOL

    weed dangerous

we all know weed is not bad, but lets say you have no idea about anything on the subject, who would you trust

    DOCTOR ron paul

    or

jeanine pirro, a former judge/police officer who used to make a large sum of her money from some kids smoking a joint on a street corner, of course shes against it being legalized,

i really wished jeanine talked first so my boy ron paul could shit on her theory instead of hearing the same old "gateway drug, teens, braincell" bullshit

  • that woman at the end is a total lying bitch, jesus christ!

  • yea, when Ron paul makes statements, he usually has some type of fact or statistic to back it up. The woman at the end just asserted her position with a deep voice and a touch of arrogance and attempted to brush off dr.pauls arguement. Sorry miss High and mighty( the woman at the end ) but the constitution is the constitution, judge or not, your not above it.

  • That's completely illogical... just understand that America's economic success is due to rampant, intrusive and forced participation in the labour market and a cynical attempt at moulding people into easily controlled consumers... and little to do with the constitution

  • Give me a break.. that's the worst argument I've heard yet. Was that the philosophical thinking behind dropping bread and bombs on Afghanistan.

Wealthy private sectors giving pitences to charities wouldnt be needed if you didnt have poverty. But Poverty creates wealthy private sectors and vice versa.

  • Welfare rarely encourages large scales of unemployment... it is a myth promoted by the rich so they pay less tax.

Shouldnt the wealthiest society in the world be able to take care of disabled, sick or needy.

Higher rates of welfare would reduce your levels of crime... the most obvious fact, ignored because America needs poverty to act as an incentive for people to work hard, and not question the free market, and the power of wealthy business interests.

  • *better than poverty in other countries.

Slave owners thought that work brought success, aspiration, production and relative self esteem to their slaves... just as you argue that socialism demeans people in the same way.

  • exactly... people thought the slaves were better looked after by owners then they would be by the Labor market.

    exactly.

Does that remind you of anyone's argument concerning poverty in America.. in relation to the other countries? Is that what underlines your pride in how poverty in America is better thn Poverty in America.

  • Googling Tony Blair might come up with the term "Labour" but actually knowing about his policies and legacy paints a very different picture.

Your obesity levels are because of the cheap/poor/industialzed nature of the food process, and that bad quality food is merely to give people enough energy to do a days work, or to take their disposable income and reinject it into the economy

If I'm arguing against the unfettered labour market then how can my beliefs be linked to anything like Slavery?

  • I'm a human being... with little interest in labels. Tony Blair is one of your ilk.. thinking you can liberate people by enslaving them to the labor market.

Switzerland is a tax haven that markets itself as a specific residency for Europe's super-rich. A place for richard Branson to register occupancy to avoid paying tax. Incomparible to an industrial nation.

  • Being in poverty in the US similar to being in poverty in any country in Europe, Australia Asia etc...

How could some slave owners a few hundred years ago predict mass industrialisation? They wrote a document for a small rural state that was under attack. Government regulation is what separates human beings from the laws of the jungle.

  • yeah, you've been brainwashed into thinking your county is the best... like every narrow-minded conservative in every country that ever existed. Little different to groups of termites fighting for their colony. Our more complex minds come up with more complex reasons for primitive territorial attitudes.

America was a new and emerging country with large spaces and numbers of consumers, just as India and China will go through the same processes.

  • A belief that the constitution suddenly in the last 60 to 80 years is responsible for economic success.. is about as sane as Muslims thinking Mohammed had prophecies divinely revealed to him.

Mass industrialisation and an expanding new economy will help China grow as america did a hundred years ago. And they too will perhaps have execution, poverty and murder rates as bad as America's... which is why the US is often ranked with Nigeria or Iran for its shocking levels of living standards.

  • no... i believe individuals should have liberty... but that the pressures of the unfettered labor market reduce people (in cities especially) to effectively the level of beasts. Termites or bees in a work based hierarchy. Raw and wild competition, why would you throw guns into the mix?

America's post war success is little to do with the constitution, I suppose China's economic success in the next 100 years will be down to the Bill of rights?

  • Oklahoma.. sure that has the level of conflict, competition and angst caused by the pressure of living in inner-city areas.. ie.. the centres of capitalism, which Chicago and Washington do have.

India and the US have very different economies, China does too.. so what does that prove? Norway and Singapore have totally different economies, and they are both small.

the US is a competition based labour market, with legal use of firearms. it's like giving animals in the jungle automatic weapons

  • I dont think anyone has ever had a blackmarket in drugs or anything else the size of current US levels. Obviously, if you were not some kind of brainwashed patriotic moron then this would be obvious. I'm sure some californians live better than poor japanese... but what kind of moron thinks population size dictates the political and economic policies instigated by the government.

  • what is this... redneck dipshit propaganda 101? I've no idea about Churchill and i'm not gonna google it for the sake of proving how stupid you are.

How are you going to ever eliminate a blackmarket in a capitalist economy without becoming a totalitarian police state? It's why the US has the crime, murder and execution rate of a third world country. Look at countries with social democratic traditions, from scandinavia and the netherlands to Japan... best standard of living in the world.

  • Marijuana will never be legalized because the federal and state governments will never be able to sufficiently tax it like they do tobacco and alcohol. Same reason why pharmacies are allowed to sell you a small dose of Heroin (oxy) but it's illegal for you to go buy it on the street. It has nothing to do with "protecting the people", it's all about the money.

  • yeah.. it's nothing to do with the drug war dipshit... you have gun crime because you have access to guns. If socialism has good and bad points then so does capitalism. Crime, poverty, conflict and violence can never be eradicated in the free market because they are essential incentives and disincentives to conform. Retards like yourself are unable to see this and often blame crime on lazy people, foreigners, computer games etc...

    Iraq? real good example.

  • no government propaganda? not like you're a nation that has been brainwashed into thinking you're the best in the world with a special destiny to "protect" othes. Public relations, advertising and all the modern forms of propaganda were invented and thrive in your country.

Thats not capitalism, that's just the primitive laws of the jungle. thats why you can never eliminate crime/poverty in a free market system. the fact you think it's because of drugs shows how youve been brainwashed. fucktard

  • where's socialism in action? we're not talking about Cuba. The reason your murder rate is so high is because you have the right to bare arms and you have an economy based on Social Darwinism.

Make sure everyone is in constant competition with each other, then make sure they can have weapons if they want. Most retarded thing i've ever heard of. Engineering conflict, and passing it off as civilised behaviour by making sure everyone's so ignorant they dont know the other options.

  • The founding father's could never have envisaged a Metropolitan area like New York... therefor shit like the right to bare arms causes much suffering and pain... in the name of some ancient script.

as time goes on and it becomes more out of date the comparison with shit like Islam will just get more apparent. It's just the same principle repeating itself

  • Amen. Of course, Ron Paul suppors the repeal of the civil rights laws and court decisions that ended segregation, while falsely claiming to be a constitutionalist. That's why We the People voted for someone else.

  • weed should be legal... but Ron Paul like a lot of Americans should get off this constitution bullshit. it's just a piece of paper, it's like muslims talking about the Koran. who gives a fuck.

  • fuckin windbag at the end, sweden doesnt allow potsmoking and still there are 4 times as many people dying per capita of drugabuse here then in holland. And holland has fewer potsmokers then the usa, 20% instead of 40% has tried the drug. According to LEAP, law enforcement against prohibition in the USA. They should have let Dr.Paul set her straight. He knows.

  • It's not the lady at the ends fault. If she tells the truth, the government will intervene and get her fired. Simple.

  • C'mon Dr. Paul, you should know the comparison between cannabis and crack cocaine is specious at best. Marijuana is less addictive than the caffeine in a cup of coffee you can buy for $1.60 at Starbucks. Ms. Pirro doesn't know what she is talking about. If there is a gateway drug, it is alcohol. More than 35,000 people are in jail or prison right now for non-violent marijuana related charges.

  • Then why doesn't he say that marijuana should be legal, but crack cocaine should not? Hmm . . .

  • 1. So did McCain and Obama.

    2. Bob Barr has renounced making that vote. Neither of the two big shots did.

    3. An election is not the time to be a perfectionist. It is time to for to vote for the least worst candidate that is actually running. In this case, it would be Bob Barr.

  • when we are free .. it will be good to have freedom of choice.. if we were free we wouldnt feel a empty and pissed off all the time so our urge to indulge would be a lot less.. more freedom= less stress.

  • the more things are restricted and illegal the more they temt people to do it history proves it

  • marijuana is not a gateway drug have smoked for 30 years never used any other drug but alcohol alcohol is legal but kills many more people

  • i used to think drinking and smoking pot and tking drugs was being rebellious.. now i realise they wanted us to do it. we do these things we are ultimatley comforming.

  • yeah i agree ... the group that has been around longer than goverments also is still happy for us to abuse and dumb ourselves dwon.. easy to control

  • I think the final decision whether or not to eat, drink, or smoke something should fall on adults, so long as the substance doesn't result in harms to others. Which marijuana, crack, heroin, alcohol, and tobacco do.

  • That's a stupid distinction. Nothing harms anyone "in and of itself." But guns are used to hurt people, and should be regulated. Crack and heroin are addictive substances, their use results in crime and violence, and they should be regulated. This is Poly Sci 101. Guns, drugs, toxic waste---things that impinge on other individual's liberty should be regulated by the group.

Of course, here I am arguing with someone who believes the government caused 9/11.

  • Who caused 9/11? Does the melting point of steel support your theory?

Substances that I "may think are bad?" You think crack and heroin are good for you? Like Flintstones vitamins and shit?

Crack, heroin, and other illegal drugs result in violence because they're addictive and mind-altering. If you think all drug-related crime would vanish if everything were legal, you might be the stupidest person on Earth.

  • "Crack and heroin use "results in crime and violence" BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL. No one was getting shot over heroin when it was sold legally, and no one gets shot over alcohol deals anymore since prohibition ended."

You said crimes related to crack and heroin occur only "BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL," and legalization would eliminate at least gun crimes--"no one gets shot over alcohol deals anymore since prohibition ended."

It's not smart to deny a post sitting at the bottom of the screen.
