Too bad the recent (2010) Wii Menu updates by Nintendo destroys all the mods of the Wii Menu. In some cases even cripples the Wii, so it needs to be reset to factory defaults and some games will not load afterward. So I've heard and read.

Nintendo keeps track of what games are downloaded to a certain Wii console. If the Wii breaks, you can contact Nintendo and they'll let you re-download them if you have your Wii's serial number/Friend Code to a new Wii. So no, it's not funny at all.

IDK how he got the MP3:C channel but if you get mario kart wii and go on wifi they'll ask (the game asks) if you want a Mario Kart Channel. I'm sure he got his MP3:C channel the same way....except the fact of going online.

The Metroid Prime 3 was a channel full of videos about the game. Now is not available...I had it but now when u start the channel says "The channel has expired, u can delete now"...That's why they created Nintendo Channel. Now u can watch videos without downloading channels of a game.

Play a Mario Kart Wii on ur wii and u'll be able to install Mario Kart Channel. The Metroid Prime 3 preview u could download it from the wii shop channel, but it's not available now. That channel was crap, there were videos about the game only. Now we have the Nintendo Channel, is better because u don't have to download a channel everytime you want to watch videos about a game.

If you have the latest version of the Photo Channel (you can download it from the Wii Shop Channel), you have the option to put a picture as the display picture on the Wii Menu, or use the boring Photo Channel default picture. So I used the picture that I received from the Check Mii Out channel after I entered a contest. Hope this helps. -_-

Well, if you're getting the Wii, you may want to get 1-3 extra remotes and a nunchuck. Say, if you're playing Wii Sports, and you wanna play Boxing with someone, you'd need 2 Wii Remotes and 2 Nunchucks.

Anyway, I say Mario Kart is the best "first wii game" to get because it's more of a party game. But if you've played Brawl since the beginning and you still think both the first and second smash bros are fun, get brawl.

Well you can't take a file from your computer or another wii and put them on your wii. you just have to buy them from the Wii Shop Channel and they go directly onto the first open slot on your Wii Menu.
