I saw them live in Zagreb, and Edge's solo in this song (and in all of the song) was perfect. How I feel about his screwed up solo here is: even the greatest musicians can make mistakes. And that's some kind of relief for me, for a more simple player like I am.

I don't know about other U2 concerts, but in this 360° tour i have already attended 2 of them (Barcelona, Spain on the second day and Sheffield, UK) and i must say that it was AWESOME! I even think he sang better live than in the No line on the Horizon CD. It was an amazing feeling and everyone was so happy and pleased with the quality of the music. They are definitelly great musicians and performers. If any of you still have the chance to go to any of the remaining gigs don't miss it out!

This song sounds great live. They made a nice recovery from Edge's screw ups in the solo. He missed a few notes on the solo, and then followed the CD version of the song which closes the song, instead of their live arrangement, which returns to the chorus. I hear they got it right on night 2. But this one is living up to the promise of being this generation's "Bad".

At what point-in-time does Edge screw up?

I instead saw Adam screw up at 50seconds into play time. He was to slide 3 times but did two slides(47s-49s) and immediately played the next part of the song(50s), and just waited on the same bit until the song caught up (at about 52s)

This song is so lovely and they played well, so this may suggest they did not rehearse enough. They probably just played based on the confidence that they`ve played this song a million times over.

Ah, the solo? Watch the video response above, watch Bono's but more importantly Larry's eye contact - speaks volumes! You can't strut around as the biggest band in the world and then put on a performance like this, it's embarssing . And the bass is in the rythm section, while the guitar is lead & right up front sonically!
