We were correct. Obama's victory restored my faith in America! I'm proud to say now that I'm from a country that chose such a leader. What other country can bost of such a capable and competent leader? And if we are a country of ignorant "ugly Americans," how could a black man be voted by a landslide for assume the highest office in the land? Think that would happen in, say, France or Germany (and forget it happening in Italy). We have a right to be proud again.
