Shame that the AKC snubbs these breeds! Never buy an AKC dog because what you get is an inbred sickly dog breed. Always go with a UKC dog because they don't close the stud books and allow new bllod into the line. They also let working dogs that in real life WORK, into their breed regestery. If it wasn't for the UKC we wouldn't have AM Bulldogs, Dogos, pit-bulls, or Carolina Dogs along with many more rare and working dogs! Boerboels would not even be known outside SA if it wasn't for the UKC

Not a bad looking dog, he's very large, but may be a bit too heavy. His weight takes away from his head and overal movement. Probably better suited @ 145. IMHO.
