OK stupid question....but I just wanted peoples opinions, since I notice similiar tricks done on both bikes. What is the advantages/disadvantages to 20 in. BMX style wheels VS bikes with ...well any larger size. Specifically when it comes to freestyle &/or "street style stunts" (like jumps-grinds-etc.)
@frankensteinmoneymac i ride a 26 inch dj and to me its more of the feel of the bike then what u can do with it tho only thing i can think of is biger bikes can have suspensiton and go faster while bmx move alot faser and if u ride a mtb or evan a fixe for just a short time u can whip it like a bmx
@frankensteinmoneymac mostly preference and your height and weight. i ride 24" bmx because i cant barspin on a 20" bmx with my size 12 shoes. i know some very tall people who ride 20 and im pretty sure its because they like the short chainstay so they can spin around very easily. also, i dont ride fixies but im pretty sure the frame shape gives you a lot more sensitivity when your doing things like punching the crank and spinning on a axis.
@dglassb1 Got ya....I used to ride back when I was younger....BMX... though was never all that good. I was a big guy...6' and also way too fat to try to be doing tricks! LOL....but hey I tried anyway, and it was never about being competitive with me, I just enjoyed it. Perhaps a bigger bike would've suited me better (though I think less people were doing that stuff on bigger bikes when I rode). It would'a helped height wise....though I doubt it would've made much a difference for my weight! LOL

Of course this can also be on a 20 "BMX.
the free&fix hub can be mounted on each bike.
