young turkish gerenration is as European as France, Germany, Romania, Poland or whatever.. they have internet, know english have access to EU/USA media bla bla.. the point is that cultures colide and the youth is on top of it. The only problems are the old farts :)) retard shit like religions nationalism etc PS: we really need a common OFFICIAL language in EU (english)
who cares about EU Its damn expensive place. basically Eu needs Turkey more then Turkey needs them its becasue European people holidaying best and cheap in Turkey bcoz of Turkish money. Plus as long as Turkey government treat bad to Kurdish people they will never joing in EU
Turkey is already in Europe the only step is to announce and accept Turkey's existance in EU. Turkey is Eu's no.3 trade partner. One of the biggest dynamic population. And to be honest a great power in its region covering the balkans and middle east. Eu is not like 1960's or 90's.. And can not be. In order to cover global politics and muslim world. Eu needs turkey more than turkey needs them.. Democracy, Economy or even Cyprus issues and only "excuses"..
On the other hand, big müslim popülation of Turkey and Cristian side of Eu just could be discussion topic fact. And sure it depends on peopel. İn this centruy religious discussions are completely unacceptable for me. States and people should be seculer and tolerance for differences in every legal topic.
in this sense turkey membership or not member will be the turning point for future of EU
Economically Turkey is already the fifth largest economy of Europa. The hosank wrote contrary but has no knowledge about European economy, I guess.
In the second geographic, Turkey has a small part on Balkans but share big common history and cultural interaction with Europan C. And the Europan boundaries more culturel, beyond the geographical fact that. That instance of Cyprus and other parts shoows it.
Turkey has high levels of Unemployment, poverty, limited Education in most sectors and a large portion of its citizens are pro Islam, Pro theocracy, anti-Secular and anti-Evolution.... oh yes, thats exactly what the EU needs...
It's suicide , both economically and intellectually in the long term.
@TheIslammiracle what turkey is 1 of the fastest growing nations on earth and it could have an less pro islam government soon your looking at turkey 10 years ago thanks please subscribe to my channel and watch my vids
i like turkey but it's not in europe so the hole of it can't join. the eu is a christian club because europe is christian it is not because the eu hates muslims. turkey has huge growth and the eu can use that growth and for me not so many people will leave turkey for western nation because turkey will have new jobs every day. i think everything west of the bosphorus can join but everything east can't thanks euronews. do the same vid or russia joining
not just that its christian, but also, europeans share a wide variety of world views which have had common development, through the system of values created by euro-christianity, and a common pan-ethnic identity. turks are an asian people. they have no business in europe..in fact..the concept of a united europe first comes from a common opposition to the ottoman empire, seen as a foreign invader..
@hosank well yes i agree with all you said. do you agree that there could be part of turkey in the eu because it is in europe if you want to find out more info about the european part of turkey search on wikipeadia east thrace. there is also 5 other nation that are part of both asia and europe my plane would be to put the european parts in the EU. with the other parts make other unions like middle eastern union for turkey, georgia, armenia and azerbaijan thanks please watch my vids and subscribe
Yes, let Turkey into the EU and open the floodgates for 80 million Turks. Europe needs them. Europe needs the cultural enrichment, higher unemployments figures, more social welfare recipients. It's all such jolly good fun.
Turkey instead of trying to be part of a Europe skeptical of Turkey and its so called "European identity", It should try to lead Turkish speaking Central Asian that share a great deal of cultural, religious and political values, being secularized nations as well, and also have a lot industrial potential for the raw materials and sources of energy like natural gas...Turkey should continue been an close allied of Europe, yet remaining independent and capable of seeking a role of regional leadership

Turkey must do some things before it has a chance of being accepted. It's relations with Cyprus for example.
