I did this on my MacBook, but it only beeped 4 times and shut down my MacBook, but it didn't do anything at all to my brother's MacBook.

My friend and me did this on our school ones about a week ago when we found out the ip's and stuff for some of the computers and we shut 3 of our classmates down and the teacher was watching us the whole time and then realized it so we got busted big time but thanks anyways!

ok i know how to do this on xp but not on a mac..... so is this how i would do it, lets say the mac i want to shutdown's user name is joe i would write (ex.JOE ssh JOE@xxx.xxx.x.x) hit enter then when macintel comes write JOE sudo shutdown -h now and enter...
