Some years ago we used to say in Brasil, that Australia was "O brasil que deu certo" (The successful Brazil), a gross comparison of our colonial history in which Australia came to be a well developed country whereas Brazil... well you know.
Anyhow, it doesn't matter anymore, what I love to see is the things we have in common: a free spirit, a beautiful country , passion for surfing, Rock n' Roll and barbecue. Aussies are fun.
Great Stuff and for those who know newcastle check out the video for "Injustice" which shows the Signa shipwreck in Stockton Bight - would have been early 80's, it's about half the size now after the ravish of time. Rock on. . .
Some of the best collection of snippets I have ever seen, the ending is something else, these guys were a fantastic Aussie act which seemed to do lots of supports for Miodnight Oil, and usualy with the Radiators as well, Great Aussie music.

i saw this band as a little piss head in the 80s, wearing kiaks (shoes) and smokin billys with them in the carpark before a gig. Put the album away for over 20 years and just dusted it off one day. Fucken awesome, i wonder what they think when they got latinos writing about them today. Mi espanol es mierda pero esta musica nos intendemos juntos !!
Caramba, meu estilo musical preferido é o heavy metal mas eu gosto muito do "aussie" rock. A Austrália é uma terra pródiga em boas bandas...O v.Spy v. Spy é uma banda cujos riffs/solos são cheios de feeling, prova disto é esta maravilhosa música (que sensação maravilhosa ela nos proporciona!!). Que riffs, que solos viajantes!!! É uma pena que esta seja uma banda muito subestimada ao meu ver... Viva Spy vs. Spy!!
