though habu vs mongoose fights were once a popular happening in okinawa, okinawa world pitted the mongoose against the cobra. also, they never let the mongooses and snakes fight to the death. they simply allowed the mongoose to beat up on the snake for a bit to show how dominate the mongoose was over it's venemous foe. though minute, it is still misinformative. anyways, you have a great series of okinawa documentation. quite enjoyable. i love okinawa...my second home and i miss it greatly

i lived in okinawa in the mid-80s when my dad was stationed there. it was 7-9 grade for me. i have VERY fond memories and we explored much of the island on a regular basis, so i recognize much of what you show in your videos, but SO much has changed! i had to comment and let you know how HAPPY i am that they stopped the habu/mongoose fights! i remember going to the caves and seeing the fights quite a few times and it always disturbed me.
