I have never heard series 1, but series 2 sounds astonishing ! sound quality is just pure crystal crisp and clear, absolutely loving them and i now know why u have changed after 5 long years to the same brand and same model.

Great review/comparison. I use the newer version connected to pc and they sound awesome - cannot fault.
