Attach the hinge sections to a diameter of tube slightly larger than that of the main body. Big enough to spin on the main tube but captive in some manner. In theory...would lessen the torque on all hinges when making contact with the ground.
while watching the video I thought I had a great idea of storing the blades in the budy tube but at the end you covered that idea too. I might still come up with something along those lines but figure out a weigh to prevent the hinges from breaking on the landing.
what are the decent rates of the rockets?
