Hello, GearBuyersGuide. It seems that people already think that this item is too big, so please correct me if I am wrong. I thought that there was also a compartment on the other end of this that holds tinder etc..., if I am correct, then please say so, so people do not think this a waste of space, and if I am wrong, then I would agree that it is a bit bulky. Thank you,
I'm not GearBuyersGuide but I do own and use a Strike Force Starter. The Fire Starter is 12.5 cm long, 3 cm wide and 2cm thick. (the gaurd is 3.8 cm wide, and 2.5cm thick.) Thats to give you a general idea of it's size. It is a bit big and the flint bar is a bit short (5cm) but it is a great firesarter and works well
As always great video on some vary useful gear. But as you bring up in the video it does seem to be vary big and may limit other gear. You could pack a Swedish fire steel at half the size and still have room for other gear. But that's just me what do you think? Let me know how it does.
@bushcraftourway Indeed we do LOL. That's one of the reasons most of the world thinks that we're a bunch of assholes! Come to think of it, most of the people that I go to school with ARE assholes. Love your channel by the way.
