335i/535i/135i are easy to add hp and tq to it but the engine just isnt reliable as m cars.

ive seen a procede v2 335i on e90post. he abused it too much the engine breaks and the dealership quoted him 30k in parts for repairs.

this smells like bullshit from a mile away. worst thing I can think of is messing up the turbos if you try to add too much horsepower with the software alone. and even that's not easy to do. blown engine? i don't think so... and I also don't think that having to change the turbos should count as an engine reliability issue. turbos fail after a while, like clutches do

A turbo vs NA..??? All 335i owner, plz don't think the 335i is fast. It is just that turbo to make it little close to an M3 or slight better. Anyway, you cannot compare turbo and NA. Go ahead and try to race with a 350Z turbo or G35 turbo, or a GTR to see how fast is your 335i.

People compare NA to turbos all the time...M3 vs. EVO, etc. There is a lot more about an engine than the turbos. The E46 M3 has a 3.3 L while the 335i is only 3.0 L. Same with the 3.5 L in the G35 and 350Z. Putting a turbo in those cars does not make it equivalent to the smaller 335i. Also, a chip and exhaust in the 335i will make it a sub-12 1/4 mile car...that's damn fast. Obviously there are always faster cars with more mods, but don't hate the car because it has an award-winning engine

royclung...Huh? The 335i has a 4 year 40K mile complete warranty, so I wouldn't be concerned about the turbos "choking" early. Also, the 135i has the same exact engine as the 335i.
