    Thanks, Honza.

  • NIce sound! I have a m13 and zt luchbox too , but a cant found your amaizing sound specially with the vivrato of the delay, can you give me some tips to found that sound in my M3

sorry for mi english Im from CHILE

    regards

  • It's totally beautiful O_O

You're sound look like the edge's sound !

Nice, for all you videos !

  • How long did it take you to be this good?

  • hm, I never considered "walk on" one of the better u2 songs but thanks to your (awesome) recording, i gave it a second chance and guess what - i like it! :)

thats one of the cool things about u2, you can listen the songs over and over and still discover something new from time to time ;)

  • what mic is that?

  • That is one bad ass amp!

Great tone you got out if aswell Mick :D

    Great stuff man :)

    Sean

  • Hey Mick,

Unreal as usual - re the M13 would you be prepared to take a screen shot of your delays and verb as try as I might I can't get anywhere near your sound!!

    Cheers Harmsworth

  • sounds off the hook M.

  • great little clip as always mick. considering your not a drummer, you do a decent larry.

do you ever use a click when your doing your backing tracks?.....

  • @rix29 yes all the time I start with a click then play an acoustic for a base track then build from there deleting the click and base track when done

  • @mick3b1g

right,...i wondered if you used a click when your recording the drums.

im a drummer myself, and our guitarist uses a lot of delay. i use a click a lot of the time with him,so we are both locked in....his timing is a bit off sometimes, but i cant get the blame..lol.

  • @rix29 cool yes when it comes to Edge and delay you need to play in time with the delay so what i do is choose a bpm in this case its 103bpm. I play the click at 103 and play drums Knowing the song is 103bpm I know that a delay time of 437ms will be dotted 1/8 or if it calls for 1/4 note then it would be 582ms. then it all comes together. Listen to early live U2 and you can hear Larry and Edge finding each other. A good ex is Wire live

  • @mick3b1g

    yes...wire is a cracking tune...cheers mick.

    keep it up!

  • Outstanding, both an inspiration and frustration for the rest of us as normal! Interested in the ZT but I have a couple of questions. 1. To record with them and practice with adequate cranked tone at home are they too loud in most situations, I think they have a master vol and a gain so maybe the master vol can be lowered while still getting some decent gain? and 2. I've not seen you use actual pedals with the ZT, do they respond better to sims from AxeFX/M13 rather than stomps? Thx

  • @muggle911 quest 1 no by itself it doesnt get that loud but then again I play my ac30 very loud I find it records better. With an extension cab the ZT can get loud but I havent tried it yet as i dont have a 8ohm speaker that can handle the zts wattage. Also its a solid state so i like a pristine clean sound like Edges JC120 and use pedals M13 or Axe for od. I will make somthing with pedals soon

  • @muggle911 btw Thanks for the comments :)

  • Big fan, mick. I was happy that you covered this song - and then became unhappy when the cover ended suddenly. Could you include the rest of the song? Maybe a combo of the U27 version with the guitar solo from the LP perhaps? And, no, your drumming is not bad.

  • @mac823 Thanks i will cover the whole song I just messed up on the drums so i keptit a short clip. U27 Walk on is my Fav. I love the sound of that guitar Total Gretsch!!

  • dont knock your own drum performance, Ive heard many so called pro's that couldnt keep a backbeat. Your drums sound just fine. one of these days Ive got to get a simular setup as that. When im rich...lol Those M13's should be called the Edge tone board. they realy can get even a beginning player into the Edges sound for $500. Which is cheap compared to the Millions that the Edge spends to get his and Dallas's sound.

Anywho, good stuff Mick. Carry On.

  • Awesome Mick! That ZT kicks big ass.
