I agree magic is getting ruined. More kids are playing it and wizards are making the game more appealing to kids. Especially with the innistrad set. Their playing off the Twilight movie hype with the release of innistrad. And to top it off, they have event decks that are good as is. Not tournement quality but definately ruins having to build your own deck or search for cards. You can pick up premium decks (graveborn) with so much great reanimator stuff now. No need for searching anymore noobs.

@mescalito77 you may have missed the Platinum Angel, which let's her go below 0 and not lose. Then because of her two Underworld Dreams, when you drew your card for the next turn you lost two life. That's how you lost.

@Twas0Longboarder The PC won't kill Stoutarm with the Assassin any more. This might be a change in the script with the update or something, you have to kill the Assassin.

Red mana is a rarity, so cards have to be used in such a manner that you use as little Red mana as possibly!!
burn assasin and rat.. use sangrite surge on skyward knight and boost him... that should be 3 red mana.. if not then start over.. then attack with knight and skulk... just as damage is dealt use brions power to sacrifice knight and deal damage to you before he is killed, that kills the angel.. and 9 dam!
I'm pretty sure the top comment wont work because as soon as the first strike on the creature with Surge resolves, he will die because of Dread. What I did (which also relies on poor AI) was attack with the 1/1 (which gets through), use both incinerates on P Angel, cast the 5/4, use Surge on the 5/4 and then use Stoutarm's ability to sacrifice the 5/4 (now 8/7). Could be done w/ the knights ability but the game spends all red mana and leaves no mountain untapped for Stoutarm. Like if it worked.
I just tried the top comment and after the attack phase I end up with only the Brion Stoutarm and no others to sacrifice. I've tried both methods and I can't get past this one.
This video only works when u play at the easiest settings. At the thughest setting, the Assassin won't leave his defense down & you'll have to find 'another' way (aka: the one & only right way)

@tomdewilde1 yeah thx i did it now,never thought of sacking a creature mid combat cos the phases end so fast and timer only lasts like 5 seconds at most,this is basically half the game without half the phases hehe,i have only one challenge left from the last expancion pack and so far this was the hardest!!!
is there a guide to the final campaign? i got him down to -11 but he had another turn and took me from 19 to -3. I thought you win when the opponent reaches 0 or goes negative. I half the full white mage deck and about 5-6 of the rest. I only got the game last week and it was the first time I ever played this type of game and I'm really hooked on it. is it worth buying the dlc? I do really bad in live games and if it helps I want it!!!!
Tried this many times it doesn't fucking work, I found a couple of other ways, that doesn't work either. I did it my own way and got her to -3 and somehow she still fucking one so I don't know what to do. I've tried Maroorba's way of it that didn't work either so I'm sol on ideas atm, any other suggestions would be great.
Dracon - The Platinum Angel referenced in the video makes it impossible for you to win while it is on the field. You have to kill Liliana and that Angel to win. Try this: Incinerate on Assassin, Incinerate on Rats, and Pariah on Platinum Angel. Sangrite Surge on the Knight and activate the Knight's ability. Attack with the Knight and Mistmeadow. Just after the Knight attacks for 8, pause the action. Use Brion's ability to sacrifice the Knight, target yourself, damage transfers to Angel
@Hazardous0NE Works perfectly. The top comment needs to put more emphasis on the fact that the knight has to be sacrificed the second after it attacks.
I beat all challenges alone but this one, so I finally needed help and saw this video but it didn't work either. When I play Liliana she doesn't use the assassin to destroy tapped creature instead she waited and didn't play out like the video said she would. DeimosEclipse had it right. No problems with his step by step.
So this is what i do and get her health below zero and i cant fathom why it does not win....use my two incinerates on her then super buff my knight to 8/8 then use my Stoutarm ability to deal 8 straight to her damage...she goes down to -5 health and i still dont win? i dont even want to watch this vid cuz i am baffled why my way does not work

@tony66678 She wasn't worried about 1 damage because of how much life she had. She was thinking about her attack for the next turn. Human players fall for that too. I'm glad it worked for you :)
DeimosEclipse's helped out alot more. espically for the ps3 version for this game. in the ps3, If you do the other steps, she will block and destoy everything but her 4/4 creature is still out so she doesnt lose
this method didnt work. after sacraficing my thoctar she didnt tap her assassin to kill my now tapped brion. so she had 2 1/1 blockers every damned time. however the guys way of killing as the number 1 comment worked fine.
@Irru27 Unfortunately you have very limited choices in customizing the decks. What bothers me most is that you can't remove ANY of the starting cards, only add certain ones too it. So if you want to play a deck that starts with 4 terrors and you know you are going against an all black deck, then you know you have at least 4 useless cards. That said, I still like the game and find it a bit addictive.
Geez, there are still some reactions that "your way doesn´t work". I´ve never said that my way of playing this match is the only one. Anyway, according to "likes" it has to work in some cases. There is a problem with red mana, because a computer uses it in the beginning of the round and then there is none left. In my case, there WAS red mana left because my computer didn´t use it for unknown reasons. Probably, there is some algorithm for using the lands as in case of tapping Assassin..
Also, this video doesn't work. The Assassin will not tap no matter what you play first, at least in the latest update that is how it is. You can play the creature Wooly Thoctar or Pariah first, and Assissin will still not tap.

@LycanKingMtG You only have 4 mountains to tap, so it doesn't work. I actually started the game up and tried it. :p Two incinerate =2 red, one to play each. Rip-Clan Crasher = 1 red. 2+1=3. Sangrite Surge = 1 red. 3+1=4. All mountains are now tapped, so we cannot activate Brion because his ability takes a mountain. Marooraba's strategy actually works, though.
@architectus777 Before I wrote my strategy, I had tried it three times and everytime it had worked. Now I see the difference - I have 5 mountains to tap! If you do have only four of them in the beginning of the match, it´s the problem. : )
Attack with Rip-Clan Crusher, Mistmeadow Skulk and Knight of the Skyward Eye. Liliana will activate Royal Assassin targeting the Knight, ending with 3 damage to Liliana putting her at 6.
On your next main phase Play Wooly Thoctar and activate Brion Stoutarm targeting yourself
my liliana does not tap to kill brion syoutarm :(

buff up your white dude, give him this +3+3 double strike.
attack with your 1/1 and your double striking 8/8
after the destroy trigger from her creature goes on the stack sacrafice it to deal 8 damage to you thus killing her platinum angel with pariah
then your 1/1 kills her.

To use the one in the top comments you HAVE TO stop the clock.
otherwise you can't sacrifice, it'll only say "it's not your main turn"..
seems a little buggy for it to work even when the timer is paused, but it works.
so go ahead guys, just remember to stop clock and you'll be able to finish the last one

@tomdewilde1 yeah thx i did it now,never thought of sacking a creature mid combat cos the phases end so fast and timer only lasts like 5 seconds at most,this is basically half the game without half the phases hehe,i have only one challenge left from the last expancion pack and so far this was the hardest!!!

is there a guide to the final campaign? i got him down to -11 but he had another turn and took me from 19 to -3. I thought you win when the opponent reaches 0 or goes negative. I half the full white mage deck and about 5-6 of the rest. I only got the game last week and it was the first time I ever played this type of game and I'm really hooked on it. is it worth buying the dlc? I do really bad in live games and if it helps I want it!!!!

Tried this many times it doesn't fucking work, I found a couple of other ways, that doesn't work either. I did it my own way and got her to -3 and somehow she still fucking one so I don't know what to do. I've tried Maroorba's way of it that didn't work either so I'm sol on ideas atm, any other suggestions would be great.

Dracon - The Platinum Angel referenced in the video makes it impossible for you to win while it is on the field. You have to kill Liliana and that Angel to win. Try this: Incinerate on Assassin, Incinerate on Rats, and Pariah on Platinum Angel. Sangrite Surge on the Knight and activate the Knight's ability. Attack with the Knight and Mistmeadow. Just after the Knight attacks for 8, pause the action. Use Brion's ability to sacrifice the Knight, target yourself, damage transfers to Angel

I beat all challenges alone but this one, so I finally needed help and saw this video but it didn't work either. When I play Liliana she doesn't use the assassin to destroy tapped creature instead she waited and didn't play out like the video said she would. DeimosEclipse had it right. No problems with his step by step.

So this is what i do and get her health below zero and i cant fathom why it does not win....use my two incinerates on her then super buff my knight to 8/8 then use my Stoutarm ability to deal 8 straight to her damage...she goes down to -5 health and i still dont win? i dont even want to watch this vid cuz i am baffled why my way does not work

@tony66678 She wasn't worried about 1 damage because of how much life she had. She was thinking about her attack for the next turn. Human players fall for that too. I'm glad it worked for you :)

DeimosEclipse's helped out alot more. espically for the ps3 version for this game. in the ps3, If you do the other steps, she will block and destoy everything but her 4/4 creature is still out so she doesnt lose

this method didnt work. after sacraficing my thoctar she didnt tap her assassin to kill my now tapped brion. so she had 2 1/1 blockers every damned time. however the guys way of killing as the number 1 comment worked fine.

@Irru27 Unfortunately you have very limited choices in customizing the decks. What bothers me most is that you can't remove ANY of the starting cards, only add certain ones too it. So if you want to play a deck that starts with 4 terrors and you know you are going against an all black deck, then you know you have at least 4 useless cards. That said, I still like the game and find it a bit addictive.

To make sure that you´ll have red mana left, play it this way:
1. Both Incinerate on Platinum Angel
2. Activate Knight of the S.E. ability - make it 5/5
3. NOW play Rip-Clan Crasher
4. NOW play Sangrite Surge on Knight (if you play that before Rip-Clan, it uses 2 mountains instead of one) - make it 8/8
one mountain and one plain left
5. Attack with all except for Brion
6. She uses Assassin to kill Knight - STOP THE TIME
7. Use Brion´s ability to give 8 dmg to Liliana
8. 1 life taken with attack

Geez, there are still some reactions that "your way doesn´t work". I´ve never said that my way of playing this match is the only one. Anyway, according to "likes" it has to work in some cases. There is a problem with red mana, because a computer uses it in the beginning of the round and then there is none left. In my case, there WAS red mana left because my computer didn´t use it for unknown reasons. Probably, there is some algorithm for using the lands as in case of tapping Assassin..

Also, this video doesn't work. The Assassin will not tap no matter what you play first, at least in the latest update that is how it is. You can play the creature Wooly Thoctar or Pariah first, and Assissin will still not tap.

@LycanKingMtG You only have 4 mountains to tap, so it doesn't work. I actually started the game up and tried it. :p Two incinerate =2 red, one to play each. Rip-Clan Crasher = 1 red. 2+1=3. Sangrite Surge = 1 red. 3+1=4. All mountains are now tapped, so we cannot activate Brion because his ability takes a mountain. Marooraba's strategy actually works, though.

@architectus777 Before I wrote my strategy, I had tried it three times and everytime it had worked. Now I see the difference - I have 5 mountains to tap! If you do have only four of them in the beginning of the match, it´s the problem. : )

Play Rip-Clan Crusher
Play Pariah on the Platinum Angel
Attack with Rip-Clan Crusher, Mistmeadow Skulk and Knight of the Skyward Eye. Liliana will activate Royal Assassin targeting the Knight, ending with 3 damage to Liliana putting her at 6.
On your next main phase Play Wooly Thoctar and activate Brion Stoutarm targeting yourself
Now use your 2 Incinerates on Liliana ftw!!!!!!
