I personally prefer Stuart Townsend as Lestat. He has that dark handsomeness that just goes with vampires. I really feel he did well in the role even though I didn't care for the movie very much. I loved his makeup and fangs.

Except that Aaliyah got ejected out of her plane, had blows to the head, her head was split wide open, & was burned horrible. This was a very sinful satanic movie. Two people have told me that she is in hell. Her death was a punishment for ever doing this movie. I wish she never did it. They couldve picked someone else for the role.

I thought Interview with the Vampire held a very high relation with the book. Anne Rice was said to be hesitant with having Tom Cruise be Lestat but after she saw the movie she absolutely loved him as Lestat. I must say, Tom Cruise plays a much better Lestat though, Stuart Townsend is far more sexier. Haha.

i really wish this awesome movie would be larger...i mean from the middle and after there could have been many scenes added...also i've heard that "interview with a vampire" and "queen of the damned" and i think one more movie are a two or more parts of the same movie(even the name of the actor in "interview with a vampire" is lestat)...it would be great to start the story of lestat, marius and of the other vampires from the very beginning and end the story as it ends at "queen of the damned"

- Lestat didn't make Jessie a vampire. Maharet did after Jessie was attacked at the concert.

- Maharet didn't turn to stone.

- Maharet had a sister. Where was she in the film??

- In the book, if you kill Akasha you kill ALL vampires. You can't stop this unless you eat her brain and heart. Not drink her dry...lol.
