That's so funny, Davey!! But, you pronounce Pierogies wrong. My Grandmother & my Mom used to make homemade pierogies and they would correct you if they heard you. Anyway, there's all different kinds of Pierogies, which is your favourite? I like the Cheese & I like the Cabbage, and of course the Blueberry, not really sure which is my favourite. Probably the Cheese, but you have to use Farmer's Cheese and mix secret ingredients with it. I think I generally only eat six.

You can boil them, then fry them or just boil them or just fry them or baked them but the boil then bake I've found to be the tastiest!!! Even better with sauteed onions with apple sauce for dipping! The thing that is called "perogi" in this clip - is called "pelmeni" (пельмени) when they are wrapped around meat, and "vareniki" when they are wrapped around anything else.

Okay, I'm half Polish and half Russian so I can clear this up for you with knowledge from both fields.

Polish "Pierogi" are the most well known and also original type. They vary from small to large, and usually don't have meat in them. They use different kinds of filling ranging from cheese-potato based to cooked sauerkraut to berries (for dessert). Polish pierogi are larger and more common.

Russian/Ukranian "Perogi" were adaptations of Polish ones. Perogi just means different types of pieish-
