They don't make the diesel anymore for the vans. :P I love how they did the new interior, and the outside front is much better. Thinking of getting a new one.
@rush4ever1 LMAO, well yeah the the dashboard & frontend nip/tuck was a welcoming update but I sorta wished they had used a newer styled steering wheel as it still has the same one from 1997 along with having the newer 5.0L + 6AT from the F-150. I'm really more curious of the engine options in the upcoming US market Transit Van
Great van, we've got an 07 E350, not extended though. only problem with it, is that like the one in the picture, ford has insisted on insisted on using an antiquated engine, simply because it proven to be reliable. They need to introduce the 5.0 and 6.2 L V8's from the F-series into the 2013 model year vans, along with a new tranny, to replace the equally as antiquated four speed.
@adrianrubi If I'm not mistaking, the E350 is extended and has an extra bench seat, dont remember if they did the short wheelbase on them. I think you can compare it with an E250.
@Intechdude300 You can get a E350 in reg length too(The E250 only comes in cargo not passenger), the only difference is the E350 has a little more beefier suspension, come with 12 pass in reg length and 15 in ext and has availability of the 6.8 V10 . the E150 only comes with 8 pass even though its the same size as the base E350.
I'd install a new Oxygen sensor if I were you. It screws the fuel injection hence making it burn richer, consume more fuel, & rough idle. An O2 sensor cost around $45... You just need to know which O2 Sensor is it as cars can have from 2 to 4 of them. 1 before & after the catalytic converter in the exhaust
@Intechdude300 We don't have it anymore. by the way, it had bad fuel mileage, the E-Brake was on a tiny bit when we smelled burnt brakes, it started to have more problems like it stuttered at 40 MPH, and we have a grand Marquis now with 24K miles and the van was finally gone forever when it disappeared at the auction.
@Intechdude300 I wouldn't be surprised if they're waiting for the redesign so that they can work on bringing the Transit up to U.S. standards, and perhaps also have a cutaway & whatnot ready, so for ambulances and bus builders it'll be a smooth transition.
I totally felt like being one of those YouTube fags who comment "you shouldnt rev on a cold engine you fucking retard" but those fucking things take like 30 minutes to warm up so fuck that shit. cool vid
Just has lots of low end toque. Not fast but hauls lots of weight. I never understood y ford never had the 3 Valve 5.4L in here which would've helped in many ways.
these roll over easily. thats the only thing

Are the external dimensions of the E150 the same as the E350?

New dash is nice, nose is ugly.

@queensplazasouth
Nose is nothing to praise but they had to do something to the 1992 front end. Wish tho Ford offered over the Fullsize Transits vans already.

New dash, but the steering wheel is nearly identical to the one from 1997.

@RoundenBrown The 2011 models have new cupholders, new steering wheel, new door panels, and a new engine.
