  • Nice one i pissed myself laughing thats exactly what i would have done with that cat and then probably tittered to myself for the rest of the day.about it,poor little pussy ha ha.

  • @particlepete1 Thanks but i think it was the cat that was the one who almost pea'ed itself.

  • @ 1:50 a rock pidgeon thumbs the safety tries but fails to take a shot. He decides that he cannot manage a head shot since his target's head is down and an ass shot is just not sporting.

  • What gun and scope are you using :D?

  • @imCrazy1327489637456 I was using my BSA super 10 in .22cal 660fps with an old Tasco Big Horn 4.5-18x50 AO scope.

  • HAHA i think the cat sharted! 0 to 60 in 3 seconds i think. he's lucky it was you in the hide and not me though lol

  • @paddysniper82 Yeah i think he left skid marks two foot long.

  • do you think a clip on universal bipod will fitt my .22 ?

  • @eminiem25 Most bipods fit to a front sling stub in the gun stock and work will with pcp powered air rifles but not with recoiling spring or gas ram air rifles.

  • scared the live out of me when you did tht to the cat tht makes me laugh when you do that gread vid aswell :)

  • @cadget95 Thanks glad you liked it.

  • sounds good i'll give it a try.

  • Good video shows the importance of bidding your time. Shards your prefers cooking method.

  • @derserts Thanks, i just like frying the breasts up in some butter then letting them sit to rest in the oven for 10 minutes before surving.

  • @Aerozine50 Too true.

  • u should do some more pigeon shooting vids

    do u shoot feral pigeons?

  • @TheAirgunshooting Yeah i didn't get out as many times this year with work and the weather being so wet. I try not to shoot feral pigeons in the field as it is too hard to tell wheather or not they are a racing bird.

  • hahahah you made that cat run a mile (y)

  • excellent vids what is the gun please lol poor cat shit it self

  • @TheManxman369 I was using a BSA super 10 mk2 in .22cal, but please don't swear in your comments and yes it did near dung itself.

  • Your videos are great, nice to just sit down relax and watch.... must be great to set up and peacefully have a quiet day of shooting out in the field? :) Your advice is good on the liter too, hate seeing rubbish in the beautiful countryside :(

  • great vid send me vids for cooking pidgeon cheers m8

  • @buckfastboy3 Yes i entended to do a pigeon cooking vid this year but looks like the weather has beaten me.

  • omg the cats u scare make ur videos soo interesting

  • @lostchild187 Thank you.

  • You should get your self a motion decoy called the ..wang thang... it works very well for bringing in the birds from far off ,they sell them at Bass Pro shops here in North America. good luck eh? gr8 veideo too. thanks for sharring.

  • @lewandlo Yeah i must have a look at one thanks and glad you liked the video.

  • shoot the cat!!!

  • @P3T3RJAY No No nice cat.

  • Great shooting mate!!

  • @JDSLuis Thank you.

  • you made me jump when you hissed at the cat!! hahahahah. nice shooting :) i have just started shooting and got my self a bsa r10 mk2 and i have been asked to take some rabbits out for a friend been twice but no luck, should i sit and wait or stalk and what times are good, thanks buddy

  • @ellzstudios You could try both but start with stalking to find where you are likely to find the rabbits. First light and a couple of hours before dark are the best times to try.

  • what is this rifle ?

  • @RaZZoRHaM It is a BSA super 10 mk2, but they don't make it any more. It has been replaced by the R10 modle.

  • you are an air rifle hunting legend your shooting and the way you present your videos is fantastic well done!!!

  • @IXBUTT3RSIX Thank you.

  • @PLINKINATOR With crows i usually go for the head as they are just so strong and can fly some distance before droping dead with a heart shot. But the head is so small and if you don't get dead centre you can clip just the feathers or the beak which looks like a good hit only for the bird to fly away.

  • I never saw better shooting. You are sharpshooter.Did you cooking pigeons or get this to eating your cats ?

  • @Mark49007 Thank you. I keep all the wood pigeons i shoot for myself, my cats wont eat them anyway they only like rabbit for some reason.

  • @HuntersVermin Is delicious meat.I know it with cats they wont eat dead birds because want catch him.If you want i send you some recipes how to cook wood pigeon.

  • hi, what do you use for your hide? thanks

  • @1willd1 Oh 4 adjustable hide poles and 3 hide nets covered with some weeds.

  • u scared the crap out of me

  • i've recently been shooting the woodpigeons that invade my garden.one thing i've noticed, when they have fed, they pause before flying off.thats a good time to hit them.got any simple recipes with pan fried woodpigeon?? BSA Scorpion T-10 Tactical.

  • @46FreddieMercury91 The simplest way would be to just pan fry the breast meat some in butter.

  • HI GOOD SHOOTING I HAVE JUST GOT A FARM TO SHOT PIGEONS/RABBITS ON

HOW MANY PIGEON DECOYS SOULD I BUY AND WHAT TYPE AND WHERE BEST PLACE TO BUY THEN

    THANKS

  • @123hw80 I use about 10-12 full bodied flocked decoys, which i find the best for air gun use. Try shopping around on the net for the best deals out there.

  • maybe its because im a little high but im i the only one who jumped when he scared the cat?

  • Lol cat bit

  • I love'd the cat bit :')

  • @bloodshot16 Thanks.

  • i love to shoot those flying rats

  • RARARARA.....hehehe I'm a bad boy

  • great shooting.crows you shoot are hoodies?do you ever see carrion crows in your area?also would your shooting sticks be any use for a spring air rifle or do you only use sticks for recoiless air rifle? anyway realy enjoyed your vids hope to see many more

  • @kayster111 No we never see any carrion crows here in NI for some reason. You might be able to use shooting sticks with a spring rifle if you use them to steady the back of your hand rather than the rifle its self.

  • great shooting, shame about the first two but they were just common mistakes, the land out the back of my house is pretty much wasteland but i have seen and shot at rabbits and pigeons i have not made any kills yet im not accurate enough but would you reccomend some pigeon decoys? and please could you tell me where i would get them from im imagining ebay but anyway great shooting ive subscribed please keep uploading tips and advice :)

  • @xSANDYS1 Good pigeon decoys for an air rifle hunter to use are the full bodied flocked type of decoy as they look far more realistic than the cheaper shell decoys. Try Decoying. co. uk and Uttings. com.

  • @HuntersVermin thanks mate

  • u r great with that rifle and brilliant footage 2 : )

  • @DziReeee Thank you.

  • you have some skills

nearly all of your shots are in the head keep it up and i have subscribed

  • @96georgey Thank you very much.

  • @markydo86 i have the SMK 19 and have had it for almost a year and a half and musta shot over 3500 pellets through it and i am still droppin rabbits at 30 yards all day long

i found it goes well with RWS super point pellets too they really pack a puch

  • hahaha good man Thanks anyway HV keep it up

  • Is the SMK19 any good for killin rabbits/pigeon Wud like to know?? Is there anyway to make it more powerful also? GREAT VIDS BUDDY

  • @markydo86 As far as i can read on the manufactures website both the SMK XS19 Custom and Custom Carbine Hunter have around a full 12ft/lb of energy which is plenty for hunting rabbits and wood pigeons out to 35-40 yards if you can shoot accurately enough with it at that range.

  • @HuntersVermin Thanks HV Great work keep it up I also wanna ask you about my scope Its a Lycan 3-9x40e Cant find much about it on the web Wonder if u heard of it or if ya can tel me anytin about it?? Thanks mate

  • @markydo86 Well the 3-9x40 is the most commonly use scope size and the one a lot of hunters have started with, as for the name Lycan all i can get when i put it into Google is werewolf's.

  • @coalie1979 Thank you.

  • cool videos bro. nice shoots i like your videos

i can learn alot from you.

    greetings from germany ;)

  • @homiepower Hi, glad you like the videos.

  • cheers buddy so much help also likeing all of the videos you make there so interesting to watch keep up the hunting vids :)

  • @BSALIGHTINGXL Thank you, glad you enjoyed them.

  • quick question if i zero in my scope at 25 yards and i see lets say a pigeon at 20 yards will i have to aim lower at the pigeon or at the same height at 25 yards

  • @BSALIGHTINGXL It really depends on the caliber and power of your rifle, but with a 12ft/lb .22 you will have to aim slightly low at 22 yards but your best setting out targets every 5 yards and shoot them to see where your gun and pellet hits at different ranges.

  • What do you do with the birds? do you eat them? if so would be good to see how you prepare & cook them... :)

  • @tazlmc Yes i do eat them and i plan to do a cooking video on wood pigeon at some time.

  • crikey,i was under the impression that pumps would give "a lifetime of use" or so the reviews say. divers bottles are quick,i hand them that, but i like the idea of self sufficiency,so i'll go for the pump. at least until i get fed up of it. mind you i will rotate the pcp with my spring rifles so i probably wont be using it all the time. cheers

  • @farookbulsasra Well thats how a started, and the newer design of pumps should be better than the ones i was using, and they are better suited to the smaller pcp air rifles not the big bottle fed ones i was using thats probably way they burnt out the seals.

  • @HuntersVermin hi i love your vids im wondering would a benjamin discovery kill a rabbit and any birds .177=1000fps btw keep the vids coming

  • @gunlover900 Yes a .177 at 1000fps should produce about 18ft/lb of energy which is plenty to cleanly kill rabbits and birds so long as you can shoot accurately with it to put the pellet into the head or heart.

  • hi, i just bought my first pcp today an AGS PCR1.got it for £160 second hand off the gunsmith who mended my old guns.Another £20 for a silencer.had it chrono'd in the workshop, and it was doing 11.8-12ft/lb.now i need a pump. i can't be bothered with those diver bottles, and i'm thinking of the Webley Tri Pump, about £120. what do you reckon.i presume it will be compatable,i've got the adaptor to fit the gun.

  • @farookbulsasra If you have the adaptor it should fit ok. I used to use a pumb years ago but after burning out two of them filling the 400cc bottle on my FAC rapid i finally bought a divers bottle.

  • What camo nets do you use for your hide? Do you poke your rifle out where two nets join each other?

  • @JosephAD I would use up to 3 nets for a hide, two of which i would use for the wall of the hide hung over garden canes or hide poles and the third i use for the roof of the hide to cut out as much light as possible, then use what ever weeds you can get to help the whole thing blend in with the hedge behind it. I usually cut a few small holes in the net then to see and shoot clearly out of.

  • @HuntersVermin Thanks for the reply -- do you use the clearview style nets or the looser mesh ones?

  • @JosephAD Here i was using a couple of the Ghost nets, they have a have a fine mesh layer behind the camo which works well, then i hung an old die cut leaf pattern net over that which makes the hide nice and dark inside.

  • the best air rifles hunting videos so far

  • @Dellster13 Thank you very much.

  • :L there heads fall of ?

  • How do you build a hide like that and how do you use the dead birds as decoys. Your videos are awesome and i can't wait for some new ones :D

  • @GuyF21 I build the hide into the hedge using three cammo nets and four adjustable hide pools. I use two of the nets for the walls of the hide and the third as a roof, then disguise it with what ever weeds i can find. The dead birds can be set out as a decoy by using a short stick or piece of stiff wire pushed into the ground and the birds chin to prop up their heads. Glad you liked the videos.

  • thanks for ur time ;D

  • @emokiddXhotemorage Your welcome.

  • what do you do with your pigeons after the day has ended

  • @combatpanda101 I take them home and take the breast meat off them for the freezer.

  • are the wood pigeions in nacadogeches texas?

  • @emokiddXhotemorage Oh goodness i don't really know, but they are quite widespread across the UK and Europe.

  • roughly how long would you be sat there waiting?, and can you do it in grassy feilds?

    Thanks

  • @Mcphlange I have sat for over 5 hours some days, it just depends what the weathers like and how much action you see. But you can only decoy wood pigeons down to an area where they are feeding, Weather that be a barley field like here, or my be fresh clover in a grassy field in the spring.

  • are you sure that cat is not snap haha

  • @ash1557 Yes very, as i was two or three miles from home. But they do look very similar.

  • this video is really good. enjoyed it i like what you did with the cat and your a goot shooter

  • @matapatapa Thank you, i'm glad you liked it.

  • i do alot of air rifle shooting and pigoen decoying is 1 of the most exciting ways to hunt apart from poking squirrel nests that realy gets the heart pumpimg lol

  • @beavereater6969 Yeah i really enjoy decoying pigeons to the air rifle, but poking squirrels out of their nests would give you a lot of very fast action. Thanks for the comment.

  • hell of a vid!!! i look up to guys like u!

  • @TheProcock Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

  • nice video

  • @adamadio900 Thank you.

  • what kind of air rifle is that your using?

  • @MrBigRifle Hi, its a BSA super 10 mk2, in .22 cal with about 14ft/lb of energy.

  • do u know zinaroon( Si Pittaway) personally

  • How do u film these hunts? You obviously use several differetn cameras and i was just curious

  • @lilfrenchfry14 I still only use the one camera so far, and it does take a lot of thinking and planning before hand to make sure i get the shot on film. Here i have the camera mounted on a tripod but i also use the camera mounted to my rifle for other hunts.

  • pigeon got sniped by hunter

  • I would love to hunt like this, but I know even If I got something, I probably wouldn't have the heart to eat it, or kill it.

  • @crazyjorge2111 Don't worry about it hunting isn't for everyone. You can still get out there and enjoy the countryside with a camera instead of a gun and snap away.

  • one rifle i really want is the Weihrauch HW77. i have seen one for sale ,but its a HW77k,the shorter carbine version.would this make a significant difference in performance, particularly when it comes to hunting??

  • @farookbulsasra It shouldn't really in a spring gun as custom air gun makers found that spring guns only needed about 7-8 inches of barrel to get to full power. Plus the shorter the barrel the less time it takes for the pellet to leave the gun so the quicker the lock time and less likely hood of the gun being pulled off aim during the firing cycled.

  • by the way,i meant to ask you, what do think are the best type of pellets for hunting. I hear dome heads are better than pointed hunting pellets, then you've got hollow-tip,then hollow-tip with a point !

  • @farookbulsasra Dome heads every time, as they are the most accurate, and if you can't hit what your aiming at it wouldn't matter what shape your pellet is. But if you are shooting at close range around farm buildings at rats or feral pigeons, you could try the hollow or flat headed pellets for maximum stopping power.

  • ok. there are two woodpigeons that come into our garden every day ,bang on time,to be fed. i think i might just fatten them up in time for christmas :D

  • @farookbulsasra I think you might get more meat to go round on a turkey.

  • where is the best place to hit a pigeon? presumably the head.but the head always seems to be moving. what about just below the neck? are feral pigeons edible, or not? (considering what their diet may consist of)

  • @farookbulsasra Well i usually go for the head as this is all you can see sticking up above the stubble some times. You can go for the heart in the upper part of the chest below the corner of the wings, but the birds are well armored there with a breast bone and you'l put a hole in the breast meat too. Next time you get a pigeon open it up to see were the heart and lungs are for a reference. Don't think i,d like to eat a feral pigeon myself.

  • another great vid if you ever decide to make any tutorial videos message me i will gladly buy them off you. ps im going to have a go at making my own hunting vids shortly il put them on here when iv done them keep up the good work and happy hunting

  • @beevisvonbeever Thanks, glad you liked it, and i'l look forward to seeing your vids.

  • Hi good videos these, i do heart shots with woodies they dont flap around so much i find

  • @britelite2657 Yeap if hit right they just flop down, but i,ve always found it hard to get just the right place for the heart, plus sometimes the stubble is so high all you can see is the head. Glad you liked the vid.

  • sorry its cruel..

  • @kysfifriend Well hunting isn't for every one, but you have a right to your own opinion.

  • i have a problem and i am asking you air gun expertise i want a good hunting rifle for birds and other really small game i have 250.00$ and i want to get the best rifle i can i am from the us and the flbs. dont matter so please reply asap....My house is being over ran by pests

  • @MADtrippin Hi ya, for that money cheak out the Gamo range at w w w. gamo - airguns. com. also try the crossman nitro piston range, w w w. crosman. com they're a little over your bugdet but still worth a look.

  • @HuntersVermin Thanks i was considering a qb78 with a tune kit from archer aiguns it shoot say 650fps in 22 caliber is that enough for small game and birds

  • @MADtrippin Yes that sounds like its close to the UK legal limit which is perfect for small game like rabbits and squirrels.

  • Best scene is with Snap :)

  • great vid keep they coming

  • @slapspak Thanks, and will do.

  • hey man. how are you. i want to know what kind of air gun u using?

  • Brilliant video please carry on bringing some more out love them !

  • @Nitrokid2345 Thanks, i should have something more to upload next week.

  • Hi, I'm quite a novice when it comes to vermin shooting. I have a Webley and Scott Osprey .22 , and I got a squirrel yesterday with it. I was using round point pellets, and got it through the ear. Yet it was merely wounded, so I had to make another shot. What was the problem that led to the thing's suffering? I love the videos.

  • @battleship188 Hi ya, i read an articel in a air gun magazine of someone having the same problem, aparently squirrels can have quit a hard head so maybe a heart shot would be better. Plus getting your guns power cheaked might be a good idea too, just in case.

  • Brilliant job on both Woodies and vid well done

    Ratman

  • @petetheratman Thanks, glad you liked it.

  • your videos are great how you give tips and commentate rather than playing heavy metal music ha, keep it up mate :)

  • Excellent video again. Very good.

    Carb

  • @carbonrocket Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

  • im thinking about buying a airgun for sports shooting and as well hunting the only question i have is how much joule do you need for that

  • Great video. I am trying to get the magpies to come into my bait area. Is the dead rabbit the best bait to get them on the ground for a shot or is there a good alternative when the rabbits are not plentiful in the area?

Keep up the videos they are excellent.

  • hahaha u scared the wits out of the cat hahahaha

  • at that range I usually settle for a bout shot, its pretty close range

  • how do the decoys work for u i havent tried it. the pigeons i shoot sit in a barn how should i use the decoys.

good vids keep up the goood work

  • how do the decoys work for u i havent tried it. the pigeons i shoot sit in a barn how should i use the decoys

  • another cracker buddy!

  • @barneyhughes Thanks.

  • Another cracking vid mate. What do u prefer to use? .177 or .22 or does it just depend on what and where u r shooting?

  • @Joeypc85 Well both my guns are .22 as its the most common caliber used here so easy to get pellets for, but after shooting my friends 177 i can see why people like it too.

  • @HuntersVermin Thanks for that. Also do u ever use a springer or do u stick to pcp rifles for light weight?

  • @Joeypc85 I started out using a springer when i was 14, an HW80 and still practice with it regularly, but stick with my two PCP rifles for hunting.

  • Spot on I must admit I love watching your vids! when I cant get out myself and do a bit, Always good to watch someone else at their craft! Can I just ask I know you shoot FAC air in the form of your rapid, Sub 12ftlb what calibre do you use?

Keep up the good work my friend.. Diolch yn Fawr!

  • good vid!

in early spring try hunting with a call! works like a charm

  • Best airgun hunting vids on youtube, well done HV, got yourself another fan!

  • @Dogeggz Thank you very much for that, glad you enjoyed them.

  • Top stuff HV! Another cracking vid.

  • Wow this is why i love your video's you have great respect for the outdoors and the animals... clean head shot's and no trace you where ever there. Great video and shooting skills. i look forward to the next one.

  • Another great video, your respect for the animals and the countryside is top class. (Y)

  • @jamielyndondownes Thanks very much for that nice comment.

  • the cat turned very quick into hyper-trust-mode, lol!

i find it very nice to see a responsible huntingvideo in between all this youtube-garbage, where people "kill" for fun without any respect for the animal. hope you had some good eating!

    Thumbs up!

  • @ploetzlich30 Thanks for the nice comment and the thumbs up, and the pigeons are in the freezer .
