I disagree. This video was very well done. Its simply a salute to the "genuinely talented" artists who created this music. I really doubt the intent was to butcher anything. I agree the overall sound was more mainstream but whats really wrong with that? Its just a "mash-up" afterall. Nothing more.

This is an interesting mix of a lot of great songs. It's also a good example of the sum being far less than any of the individual parts but it still works with the video in that light-hearted "Stars on 45" way.
