  • @UnNuevoChile suscribed :)

  • Thank you! I really found this helpful (:

  • thanks!

  • THANK YOU! This tutorial was perfect.

  • Do NOT press the letter P. It freezes the program and to unfreeze it, you need to quit the program and reopen it.

  • :fluttershyyay:

  • I have a laptop with no numpad suggestions PLZ

  • @LuckyGreenGamer Go to the bottom left of the blender screen, click on VIEW and it will open up multiple camera angles to choose from. I don't have a numpad either, so this helped me a lot.

  • Very good beginning video

  • For those of you (like me) who don't have a numpad, you will have to click the "view" menu in the lower left hand corner. Not as fast and easy as numpad but you work with what you have.

  • how can i make a 3D or 4D photo with that program?! :S

  • Video seems very helpful, as do most comments, but I don't have a mouse, so fuuuuu D:

Will just have to watch again when I get a mouse...

  • so its all rather self explanatory rotate r scale s y axis y x axis x easy...So far

  • How can I rotate with a Bamboo tablet?

  • @aDinoSupremacist

fairly certain there are buttons on your pen which you can configure to use the middle key, that should work.

  • Is there a specific mouse that I need? I ask, because I clicked on my scroll button and it does not seem to do as your example is presented. Im confused with my hardware. Any suggestions to end this confusion?

  • how do i delete :(

  • @Lloopy654 Enable 'Emulate Numpad' in User Preferences

  • Wow, just when I was proud of my success with Illustrator and Photoshop. This will take a longggg time to get good at. I started this whole adventure out of need to create one single item and now I am addicted to the graphic arts programs, no prior interest or ability.

    Great job and concise work!

  • this was very helpful I had spent two hours prier to watching this trying to figure this program out on my own. thank you

  • I was using Sketchup before, and this was really advanced for me, thank you.

  • Lol I downloaded this for the sake of helping me solve those damn missing views..

  • Ummmm... I don't have a numerical keypad... what do I do?

  • very helpful! please post more, make this a series :)

  • thank you sir!

  • You are a great explainer. Love'd the video.

  • Thanks man, I'm new to animating, and this is very helpful :-)

  • How do you rotate about 2 axis at once?

  • i find it very helpful. it not like the old blander. i think old blender use Alt+mouse. now i know how to move it again. i can slowly start leaning the program all over again and thank for link as well. very useful

  • What would these hotkeys be if you don't have a keypad? I'm also using a Mac...

  • Really good tutorial.

    very useful!

  • Nice tutorial, unfortunately for me I'm on a laptop...with no mouse... and with only the numbers across the top. lol. Still will watch it though, because it's a good tutorial so far.

  • Thank you! You got me started on an adventure!

  • i have the worlds shitties middle mouse button (any other way i can rotate etc?)

  • @Rocky4306 It works the same as getting the middle mouse, just "file", "input", "emulate numpad"

  • @TheKeroFox If you go under "file" and click "input", just check "emulate mouse" or whatever it says and save as a default. Now if you left-click and hold alt, it works the same as if you had a middle mouse.

  • thank you for the video i was gonna start my first oblivion mod and you help me a bit to get around with the keys thanks!

  • @onedark300 thanks :)

  • um i don't have a mouse so i can't really hold down scroll to move around... what do you do for a touchpad?

  • @TheKeroFox get a mouse lol

  • @JREAMdesign

    I have a mouse but I can't rotate the image at all. I've tried 2 different mouse brands (1 usb and 1 wireless) and all the image does is shift towards the right slightly. Help me please!! ;_;

  • @TheKeroFox you can adjust the mouse settings to attribute right click to middle mouse button, i did it because my mouse tends not to detect middle wheel click and instead scrolls. For zoom and all use ctrl and shift to replace wheel movements. I managed to make it change only when blender is running, so its reverts to normal when it is no longer open.

  • @TheKeroFox actually i realise now how stupid that was... i NEED rightclick, such a noob i am

  • @TheKeroFox actually i realise now how stupid that was..i NEED rightclick, such a noob i am

  • im on a laptop and the 7 key makes the cube disappear plz help

  • @jakwatson54 if you are on a laptop, make sure you use the FN key before pressing a "num pad"number, if i'm correct 7 is the same key as H so if you press 7 before pressing the FN key it will read that you're pressing H (hide)

  • @AoiMitsuko naw nothing works every button makes everything disappear maybe my blenderis stupid

  • hey, i'm completely new to blender, and i don't have a scroll wheel, how can i compensate? also, when i press any number, they don't effect my perspective, they cycle through the layers i think, anyway, i am sooo confused

  • just a quick question :D im really noob in blender lol . how do you change editors type to windows type ?

  • @fanna1119 Heya, I actually dont understand what you are asking !

  • just a quick correction - Blender is not written in Python, it only uses Python as its scripting language.
