  • people sayin it was still the Cavalier untill 95 are right, but this is niether a cav or a vectra, open your eyes, ITS A BMW you blind fucks, ffs man!

  • I am pretty certain this episode pre-dates the Falklands war. In fact I feel fairly confident it pre-dates the coronation.................. of Queen Victoria.

  • CAVALIER!

  • was this made by an idiot abroad where the Cavalier was known as a Vectra.

  • Cavalier not a vectra

  • Why would someone go through that much trouble to protect a Vauxhall Vectra?

  • wow check out all the classics and the satalite delay between the sound and pictue

  • 3.19 she said erection :P

  • ...in times when cars were still simple....and ugly

  • What's that hair looking thing on his head, lol! And btw, audio fail?

  • In 1990 it was still the Cavalier which didn't get replaced by the Vectra until 1995 when he famously criticised it

  • @MidlandNinja the cavalier was known as the vectra in other countries it was only in the uk under the vauxhall brand was it known as the cavlier

  • @MidlandNinja only in britain (where they for some reason renamed Opel to vauxhall and vectra to cavalirer) is it called that.

  • @coolakiIlen007

They didn't rename it as such. Vauxhall and Opel both validly marketed cars, and were consolidated into matching ranges under GM. The name 'Cavalier' was used by Vauxhall on their model long before Opel used 'Vectra'

  • @iainthornton cool, i just dont see the point. why not opel in britain aswell?

  • @coolakiIlen007

well, that's very simple. Once upon a time (until 1981 I believe) Opel and Vauxhall were sold alongside each other in Britain, and Vauxhall was far more popular. I think for the simple reason that Opel is a German name, whereas Vauxhall is British. Public perception. At that time, a lot of people in Britain still deliberately bought British cars. Britain buys a lot more Vauxhalls than European countries buy Opels these days, which suggests to me it's actually a healthier brand

  • @iainthornton i didnt know that, thanks.

  • @coolakiIlen007

I'm quite a big fan of Vauxhall actually, and that shape of Cavalier represents a fantastic age of British touring cars. If you're interested, search for '1992 BTCC final' here on Youtube. It's a really fantastic race

  • He has hair!
