  • its a display port you dummy

  • i think this is my next laptop! :D

  • Why does the 15inch cost less than the 14 inch?

  • I bought a Samsung 7-Serie 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard drive, 15,6 inch screen, graphics: 1600x900, i7 Processor. Would that be a good gamer? And I will defenitly make a review of it when I get it.

  • nice review:) do u think the 15,4 inch is a good gaming laptop? do u think the screen is 2 small? i cant decide with this and a asus g74sx

  • @1337soundeZ two completley different spectrums, the series 7 is more of an entertainment laptop, the grfx card is good, considered high class 2 graphics. anything on an asus gaming laptop is considered middle class one, and for a laptop that's really good. The samsung 7 uses a 6750m graphics card, which is a about gt500m level and the Asus uses GTX 560m and above. The series 7 will run well for gaming, but not a good dedicated gaming laptop, consider the Sager 8150, Asus N55, and MSI GE620DX

  • Feels cheapish in person. Hollow, ir something.

  • If this is the NP700Z5A-S04US where do ou buy it?

  • I will buy one - I need a windows laptop to go alongside my macbook pro - this one looks great

  • I have the "bestbuy" version: exactly the same but no backlit keyboard, slower hdd, and 6gigs of ram, and I gotta say its a great laptop. The build is amazing, and the battery life is great, but its gots a few issues. The hdd partition it comes with its stupid, 50gb for C: and the rest for D: with no option to expand, reformat of w7 solved that. And the switchable graphics isn't recognized by all programs or games, which retort to integrated (even when designated in ATI control panel.)

  • @nhills93 How's the temp. control? I'm seriosuly thinking about buying this. And

  • Its good, I do a lot of special effect work and use some very resource hungry programs that have over heated several other laptops I've tried, and I've had no issues at all. It can play bad company 2 on ultra for 2 hours with out choking up so I doubt anything else would cause problems. The most heat comes right under the screen, well away from your hands so the chassis stays cool anywhere that you normally touch. I'll be uploading a review on my channel sometime soon @upiluften

  • @nhills93 Can't wait for it!

  • Good hackintosh?

  • why is the smaller one more expensive?

  • SAMSUNG=KOREAN

  • I just seen the 15.6" series 7 in PC World and it looked stunning! I have my heart set on a MacBook Pro 13" but if I was going to buy a windows laptop it would deffo be the series 7. I like how it has a MacBook style trackpad, very responsive keyboard and a stylish design.

  • @anil2 well what is the price and spec difference between these Samsung and Macs? I need a laptop catered for video editing and writing, as in Word document stuff....which should i get? Low Price is a priority.

  • @whole27 well if low price is priority then a mac is out of the question. the base model 13" is £999 and you dont get much for the high price tag. the samsung is most ideal to your needs and is about £300 cheaper.

  • @anil2 well 13" doesn't bother me as long as i get all the specs the Mac offers and if a Samsung is only 300 bucks cheaper than i'd rather buy a Mac...but i was assuming all Macs were around 2000 bucks. But there must be less specs on that base model Mac, right?

  • @whole27 the base model 13" has a i5 2.4ghz processor, 4gb ram, 500gb hard drive and a very disapointing intel hd graphics card

  • @anil2 not to mention the i5 is dual core

  • available on Oct. 2nd, what a joke!

  • Guys, don't complain that it's being compared to an MBP. In fact, that's a good thing! It means that you're getting the screen, specs and power of a $2000+ MBP for nearly half the cost!

This machine looks beast. Definitely my next laptop purchase.

  • thought he said "mac" screen technology not matte

  • I have this computer all i have to say is no backlight keyboard, no blu ray, and no bluetooth, its less than a mac and thats the reason why. and since the computer hard drive runs at 5400 it dilutes the i7. from best buy...

  • @GeeksCreation first of all, this laptop is not released. second, it has backlit keyboard. third, it doesn't have bluray. fourth, it has 750GB 7,200 RPM with a 20 GB SSD to load OS faster. You're a liar. are you paid by Apple?

  • @Asrar29 bro how fucking stupid you sound im just a reggae dj and i bought it at best buy you dick head. how you telling me about a computer im typing on right now. fucking ass whole

  • @GeeksCreation you have the other model. this one doesn't come out till the end of the month i believe

  • @sethpanic You're right. The one at Best Buy is completely different. Not willing to settle for 5400 rpm.

  • Don't buy at Bestbuy. They sell downgraded version of this.

  • I really want to buy the 15.6 with the 8GB RAM and 6750 graphics card but can't find anywhere! when is the real release date for this laptop - anyone know???

  • @nmsumike if you go to the bestbuy american website and search for samsung series 7 they are already available at a discounted price...doesn't help me since i live in canada and i only want the 14" but they only have the 15.6" version available so if you live in the U.S u can buy it online and have it shipped or pick it up at a bestbuy

  • When and where can I buy it?

  • LOL, he doesn't mention anything about the processor types

  • whats better this or macbook pro?

  • @quest8899 It all depends on personal preference. If you're going to be doing major gaming, look at the upgraded version of the Samsung Series. They're pretty good, from what I see. If you're just buying for school or work, again personal preference. Macbooks are certainly very user friendly, however, do you know if the programs you're using are available for Mac? Most likely they are. Either way you can't go wrong.

  • @quest8899 if u game much go for this but macs r stable for general use. u r choice

  • @quest8899 How rich are you? If you just want a laptop, get this. This has the exact same internals (graphics card, processor, ram, etc.) as the 15 inch $2100 MBP, and its only $1099. But if you have money to blow, go for the MBP, because apparently that's the cool thing these days. The only benefit of MBP is the "user-friendliness" of OSX, but if you've windows your life then theres no need to change.

  • Better specs and £850 ($1,325) cheaper than the equivalent MBP.

Wonder if it'll run Lion as a hackintosh because I'm sick of Windows?

  • Buying the 14 cant wait!!!!

  • i gotta admit thats alot of specs for the money..good job samsung

  • I own a Unibody Macbook Pro and I love it, but I think I'm going to get this laptop next. This laptop truly seems great.

  • fuking mac fanboy fags

  • People are complaining about it being like a macbook? That's the point. It's £800 cheaper than a macbook, has a matte screen as default and is similar spec. Why the hell are people complaining?

  • @bullitz78 It's pathetic to buy a clone of another company. Only a pathetic customer would cheap knock off Apple laptop which is exactly what the Samsung is. Can't Samsung design their own unique looking computer? Guess not. They are pathetic and so are their customers who'd buy this cheap knock off.

  • @macuser5555 Because Apple have never, ever copied a design, right? It's a laptop, there's limited design possibilities. You just sound like a butthurt Apple fanboy who's mad that Samsung have delivered a higher spec laptop than the MBP for over a grand cheaper. I find it pathetic that you abandon all rationale to pay much more for an inferior product for the sake of brand loyalty.

  • @bullitz78 LOL, I just couldn't stop laughing at you. I'm butthurt?? Sounds like you are. Apple hasn't copied anyone's design outside of the norm like putting a keyboard and screen on their laptops. Everyone except Sony is copying Apple's design on the Macbook AIr and Macbook Pro. Just deal with it. This is pathetic clone and it's embarrassing for Samsung frankly. Sorry if this hurts you.

  • @macuser5555 both Jonathon Ives and Dieter Rams admit Apple took "inspiration" from Rams

  • @IDiggPattyMayonnaise Wow nice. Thanks for the useless info. Doesn't take away the fact the Samsung deliberately copied the exact look of the Macbook Pro all the way down to the trackpad. Why else would we be having this discussion. When you can't innovate, you rip off. Samsung knows how to play the game.

  • @macuser5555 my comment does not deny what Samsung did or did not do.. it merely denies your comment "Apple hasn't copied anyone's design".. let me reiterate; Jonathan Ives, head designer of Apple, has openly admitted to taking direct inspiration from Dieter Rams, another designer

I also hope you understand that many of the components that go into an Apple product come directly from companies like Samsung or other big manufacturers like Toshiba or Hitachi..

  • @macuser5555 Why would it hurt me? I don't give a shit what it looks like, I don't care about Apple. Your name is macuser, and Samsung have delivered a higher spec machine than Apple for a grand cheaper, and considering your argument is totally illogical, it makes sense that you're mad. I'm sure Samsung won't be embarrassed when it flies off the shelves, I'll buy a product on the deal it presents me, I don't care if they've copied something. Would you not buy a car for copying the spoiler? No?

  • @bullitz78 Hahahahaha, you're hilarious. It's so obvious that you want one of the Apple knock offs and you're just mad because I said only pathetic people would buy this. Go ahead and buy it, LOL. There's more to a good computer than CPU, Ram and GPU power. You're pathetic that you don't see that. Go ahead and buy that cheap knock off junk. LOL.

  • @macuser5555 I'm happy with my computer as it is, but if I was buying a new one Apple currently wouldn't get a look in, which is the exact goal of Samsung. It's pathetic how much you care about someone copying your beloved Apple's design. Apple don't give a shit about you, yet you waste your time defending them against those assholes Samsung! Idiot. I'm sure Samsung won't load their machine with so much thermal paste that it goes to 100 degrees just browsing the internet either. ;)

  • @bullitz78 It's funny that you say I'm defending Apple, you're fanboying for Samsung in the worse way. Who cares if you don't get an Apple, Apple don't need ya. They have plenty of customers that see that they make great computers and Samsung sees this too which is why they decided to make a blatant garbage clone of the MBP. Enjoy it while the fan noise drives you mad. I just love that Samsung makes it appear to be metal when it's painted plastic at the bottom. LOL.

  • @macuser5555 i thought only the palm rest is plastic?

  • @verygoodbrother Nope, the bottom plate on the Samsung is faux metal, or painted plastic to give the "metal" look.

  • @macuser5555 that's sweet, it means replacing or changing parts shouldn't be too hard.

  • @macuser5555 Wrong again bitch.

  • @macuser5555 I'm not fanboying in anyway, I don't care about either brands. So funny how you talk about fan noises and compare it to a freaking Macbook Pro? Their fan noise is notorious. Whatever you say, you can't hide the fact Samsung are offering Apple's market demographic an extremely good quality, higher spec product than Apple for £1000 cheaper. I don't think people will pay £1000 just so they have the 'original'. And Apple have copied designs too.

  • @bullitz78 First of all, you're a liar. Okay? No need to lie just to make your argument look good because it makes you look worse. MBP's barely have any fan noise. Any MBP owner KNOWS that you have to put your ear up the computer to hear the fans so you fail on that. Secondly, I'm glad you've convinced yourself that you think this Samsung is the same machine as the MBP but for $1000 less. I would easily say $300 of subsidization comes from the bloatware, the rest is just a cheap junk laptop.

  • @macuser5555 LOL....your such a twat....your mad you overpaid.

  • @macuser5555 Cunt

  • @macuser5555 Actually since most of the parts in a Mac are from Samsung.....that would make the Mac the cheap knockoff....(Your words not mine) I win again bitch.

  • @macuser5555 Uh, most of the parts in a Mac are not made by Samsung, at least not the ones that count. You're calling me a bitch? U Mad?

  • @macuser5555 If you really want to argue about it Samsung pretty much makes the iPhone work. So Apple's main product is made by Samsung. As for the hardware inside a Macbook Pro, it's like $700. You're paying a lot more for the software, which is good. However, the way this laptop works is for high fast computing use which you get. This laptop is not junk though, seeing as to how it uses the same specs as a Macbook Pro. The same laptop, which may I say you regard so highly.

  • @MrLockthorne Sooooo, let me get this straight, you're making it sound like Samsung is doing Apple a favor by selling them the parts for the iPhone? Get the fuck outta here. Remember, it takes a paying customer in order for a seller to make a sale so if anything it's Apple that's allowing Samsung parts in the iPhone. And about this junk being the same as a MBP? Glad you've convinced yourself. You're the typical spec whore that doesn't look further than the CPU or GPU. TYPICAL PC fanboy.

  • @macuser5555 Wait...you're saying Apple, being the godly company they are, are honouring Samsung by allowing their parts in the iPhone. That logic has too many fallacies to count. Also, it uses the same amount of DDR3 RAM which I believe Apple still uses. It uses the same HDD, however, I think you can spring for the SSD, as you can with the Macbook Pro. Finally, Apple uses an aluminium chassis, whereas Samsung went with a cheaper chassis option. The screen on the Series 7 surpasses the Macbook

  • @macuser5555 Pro, seeing that Samsung uses and LED screen which is amazing. Now, if you want to get into the really nitty gritty of it. We can examine both of the motherboards, which don't really do that much good. I can't say much for the fans on the Series 7, as I have not tested them, yet. However, Macbook Pros, have quiet fans, which is a plus. The software of the Macbook Pro is better, because Mac OSX, as always, has been based of Unix, which I prefer. The keyboard is pretty nice on both.

  • @macuser5555 And if you want we can talk in-depth about cooling systems. The circuitry, who makes the parts, where they're manufactured. Blah blah blah, but if you want to be an asshole about it, maybe you shouldn't harass a Computer Engineer. Also, Apple wants you to stop sucking their dick, it's just getting sad now.

  • @MrLockthorne Oh I see, you're an idiot.

  • @macuser5555 Oh, I see you can't think of any more points because I just countered them all.

  • @MrLockthorne Oh goodie goodie gumdrops for you. Need a cookie? Haha. What's funny is I let this video of this Apple copycat clone of junk go two days ago yet you got all butthurt and had to come back again. Get some friends, I can easily tell you don't have any.

  • @macuser5555 Hello, my name is Michael. I'm here to help you. There's no need to get angry, everyone's wrong sometimes. The first step is to admit how much of a dick you are. • @macuser5555 By the way who laughs at their own jokes?

  • nice macbook!

  • i like the color of this laptop. GUNMETAL baby! unlike that silvery book.

  • @310Sole Yep, that's all it is, the color of gunmetal. Still mostly made of plastic. LOL.

  • @macuser5555 that's what you think and hope it is. shame on you. showing your true colors, Fan- oops almost used the F word. fyi, i have a white macbook. we'll see when this notebook comes out and see if it's mostly plastic as you put it and then we'll see who will be LOLing..Ha!

  • shame on Samsung!

  • clean

  • @chavalit94 apple copied the island/chiclet style backlit keyboard from sony.

  • @justaguyin2011 what?

  • @justaguyin2011 Sony copied it from calculators...

  • @justaguyin2011 yeah apple sucks ass. that why they getting the shit sued out of them, Motorola most recently, and Motorola won too.

  • @justaguyin2011 fugly copycats, I hate those Asian monkeys

  • Wow! The screen bezel is so thin! Well done samsung!

  • macbook?

  • @chavalit94 a laptop with a screen, backlight keybord, and a touchpad dosen't mean its a macbook, fanboy

  • @TheBetomann in fact, it really looks a lot like it, hate to say that, but its true! just leek at the tooth used for opening the notebook - quite the same as with MBP .. one side of the lappie dedicated to slot-loading DVD burner, no more ports there and all of them are kept on the other side.. the true difference is the display size, details and touchpad placement.. btw, the touchpad looks exactly as MBP's ..

  • @TheBetomann resemble macbook design

  • @TheBetomann It wouldn't be a laptop if it didn't have any of those features so what is your point?

  • @TheBetomann Nice try but this crap is a pathetic cheaply cloned Macbook knock off and anyone who buys is pathetic.

  • @chavalit94 idiot?

  • @infernox82 ty
