I heard on the radio, re-arrangement these song with mixing by r&b, rap, dance and its so fresh and energic, singer or DJ is a man and unfurtunately I didn´t know which singer or DJ, but I like so much!
Any body know that? please help me to find these song or give a link!?
I first heard this great tune in Germany between 1960-1962, sung with German lyrics( about Mustafa, a fellow in love with the sultan's daughter.) A Turkish fellow there told me it was originally an Algerian student song.
nobody said the song was greek, he plays a variety of different songs from around the world, including Italy, egypt, israel, russia... to make everybody feel at home. in fact he even plays the devil went down to georgia
This is originally an Egyptian song composed by the great Egyptian singer and composer Mohammad Fawzi and first performed in the Egyptian film "El-Hobb Kedah" ("Love Is Like That" - 1961), starring Salah Zul Faqqar, Sabah, Abdel Moneim Ibrahim and Laila Taher. Therefore, the song shouldn't be claimed to be either Greek or Turkish or any other source. Kostas Kastanis is simply playing it here as bouzouki music without the lyrics, giving it a Greek flavour.
