I concluded capitalism as a BS when i was at school back in 1999. What i mean is i knew this to be a BS long before 1999 but i comprehended the flaws of the whole system.
I use to argue with my teacher over and over but they refuse to listen.
The carp argument you hear against socialism is nothing new to me as i heard it back in 1998.
Now i am proven correct with the cuts in public sector i would love to go back to school and ask them for a debate : )
@theracemixer When it comes to Socialism itself, I must have picked up on that in 1984 or so. Not sure when it was I read "The Jungle" may have been earlier itself. When it comes to the Multinational takeover, that topic surfaced in 2003/2004. Not really sure it matters all that much. We are in it, and at the end of it.
In the case of Socialism Europe adopted it not long after ww2 since it was the only economic model that was there due to the collapse of the Europe's economy. For US however capitalism suited it best given it emerged as economic power house from 1950-80 capitalism suited US as it had a monopoly of the global market. between 1990 to date this economic has become in question due the economic powerhouse of the fare east. thus putting the middle class in a bad way out of work.
remind me when you get a new bandwidth. i'll send you a link that would explain the relationship between war and economy. its the one part nobody i've seen to notice.
A long time ago s shop keeper told me why we in UK have social housing and healthcare.
What he said back then and the video have much in common.
