@Kitemasterify I don't know that I agree 100%, but I certainly know where you're coming from. I've spent more time with my Xbox 360 since 2007 than I have with my Wii. The Xbox is a big reason I made the switch to an HDTV. I probably now own more 360 games than I do Wii ones. I feel bad paying full price for Wii games. And so on. I'd like to think I just use both systems for different reasons, but the reality is I just don't use the Wii at all.
ha ah. pays off to work for Zellers as electronics manager. (canadian wal-mart) i got mine day of after xmas party night before. although i saw a 25 year old throw down a 8 year old girl to get his......
The people waiting outside Game Stop DID pre-order, and they were still lining up until 1am. And there weren't nearly enough pre-orders to go around, kind of like how there weren't enough consoles at launch to satisfy anyone.
And, what, miss out on this wonderful cultural experience? I think not!
I'd rather wait at home where it's warm and then go get it early as soon as the shop opens. I've pre-ordered mine and there shouldn't be a problem getting it. (Still waiting for it in the UK btw).
They weren't just waiting for the consoles, it was for the accessories as well. Most shops in North America have sold out of peripherals (extra controllers, nunchucks, etc) within an hour of the store opening.

In this case, I'd have to agree with you.

I'd love it if all these people waiting outside got jacked as soon as they got their Wiis. Smart people pre-order.
