  • beautiful young madam beautiful may i ask your state of origin?

  • Nic tone and great sustain! Well done.

  • wow! that's amazing!

  • That sounded wondeful! Canyou tell me why that sounded Appallacian fiddle as apposed to Celtic fiddle? it's not a criticism, just wonder how that US sound is made! It's very distinctive, and special? Love it! Just want to know how it is made?

  • It's called a double stop you hold down two strings and play both stings. It is not easy to right.

  • Thanks for that. Always amazes me how the same fiddle can sound so different in the hands of different people around the world.

  • wow youre really good(:

  • Ooooh that was good!!

  • Nice, beautiful bowing action.

  • Thanks, I appreciate the comment!

  • Great tuning and great playing! Standard tuning (GDAE)?

  • Actually, it's in AEAE, though Rayna Gellert plays it in FCFC on her album Ways of the World.

  • Isn't this generally played in GDGD tuning? Lester McCumbers, Dave Bing, etc. play it that way.

  • I'm sure you're right. I just usually find myself in cross A. I did get to see Lester McCumbers at Clifftop just a few days ago--he was great!

  • Great !

  • Sally Coming Through the Rye?

  • Yes!
