Like most classical pieces, extremely complex, almost no repetition. Try learning it by ear.

@ratz I don't think it'll be THAT complex... Like all music, the most popular stuff is usually the easiest.

But yeah, i'll take that into consideration. Learning stuff by ear is actually very easy for me when it's just chord stuff, and blues stuff, but the more prog rock, or tech death metal is really hard for me to be able to contrive into a established pattern since they don't usually have one... I'm not very good at being able to tell scales apart from other scales without getting confused.

I play Classical piano myself, and have played this song for several years now. This is well played in my opinion. The melody is very clear, the dynamics are beautifully interpreted, and overall the playing is musical. I do have a couple spots in this rendition that I disagree with, but there is no perfect way to play this song. For example, I play more in a style more suitable for Chopin than Beethoven.

This is easily one of the better interpretations I have listened to.

Just my opinion, but I think you should play whatever your heart desires. I was classically trained vocally and I sing everything from Handel to Hank Williams Jr. It really is a matter of taste and a matter of ones mood at that certain time. Well done by the way.

A true timeless classic, it touches emotions that can't be expressed with words. It just makes you feel... something. Anything. Which is what music should do. This piece does that well.

I'm learning this piece and fav'd this vid as a tutorial:-) I've got the first 4 bars down so far and I have no prior piano training. I tried those beginner books but couldn't deal with them. By the time I finish this song I will be reading notes. I am using a supplemental sheet that shows staffs, notes, and piano keyboard layout. A cheat sheet.
