This musical masterpiece catches the whole tragedy of the human condition. I get emotional every time I hear this piece and I must say that you make music and emotions flow through pefectly. Thank you VK. :-)
i got chills all down my body as soon as i saw the title of this. moonlight sonata is my absolute favorite classical piece. well done, you play beautifully.
I hate you! LOL. I've been working on this song for like years and here you are just la-di-da "oh I just printed it off the internet and played". yahhh...:oP I hate you. :oPPP
@ratz I don't think it'll be THAT complex... Like all music, the most popular stuff is usually the easiest.
But yeah, i'll take that into consideration. Learning stuff by ear is actually very easy for me when it's just chord stuff, and blues stuff, but the more prog rock, or tech death metal is really hard for me to be able to contrive into a established pattern since they don't usually have one... I'm not very good at being able to tell scales apart from other scales without getting confused.
She said she had never played this piece before guys,,,give her a break, eh? I think she has the 'chorus' or whatever they call the main melody, down great!
I play Classical piano myself, and have played this song for several years now. This is well played in my opinion. The melody is very clear, the dynamics are beautifully interpreted, and overall the playing is musical. I do have a couple spots in this rendition that I disagree with, but there is no perfect way to play this song. For example, I play more in a style more suitable for Chopin than Beethoven.
This is easily one of the better interpretations I have listened to.
I think it was played well, but the left hand is really strong (should be a bit lighter) and the tempo was all over the place. Not her best work, but a nice rendition.
IF some classical music ever attracted me, it was mostly Beethoven for some reason - gosh, I slowly don't know what I'd like to see more of your play, modern oder classical!
@MissTinkJordan for someone who do not know classical music good, it may be, it would be also a awesome version for none professionals, but i disagree that this can anyhow deal with the interpretations of great pianists, in reason of she just dont have the classical rhythm.
My favorite of Beethoven! I used to be able to play this myself, at least halfway through (not so good with notes). Maybe this inspires me to relearn it...
Like asked before: this got me really curious if you're able to play the 3rd movement. I know I never will - way out of my league! :)
Consider it a request: Beethoven sonata op.27 no.2 3rd mov
I love your Playing ... Have you ever played the 2nd Movement of OP.27 no.2? i would love to hear you play it.... i love how you can switch up from Classical To Death Metal and make it sound like it was written for a Piano :)
one of the most wonderful classical song...really nice. Where are you from? VK is for Viktoria? the way you say the r making me thinking that you are from Russia?
anyway I like much what you perform. ALWAYS GREAT!!!!
Congratulations! This show how your training is comprehensive and how you value good music regardless of style! You play it with passion, i have sure of this...
Just my opinion, but I think you should play whatever your heart desires. I was classically trained vocally and I sing everything from Handel to Hank Williams Jr. It really is a matter of taste and a matter of ones mood at that certain time. Well done by the way.
everybody can put their noses in their asses. youre great. is not about classical or rock music, is about good music, good arrengements and good execution. you great and all itens. i love guns n roses, i dont like any rock band and i like classical and soul music, and it is not a big deal. still think that you rock, if knew you 15 years ago, i went to england to marry you. kisses. play more guns n roses and some tower of power too.

@mikedowd420 You have an admirer Vika... :P ;) Get in there MikeDowd... :P
Amazing playing Vika... :) I think this Vika is a dude btw... there are two of them... one of them (the dude plays classically) and the other is a girl (does the improvisations...) I think, correct me nicely if I'm wrong... :)
After 200 years this music is immediately and unmistakenly familiar to all that hear it. Even if they don't follow or study music. A true timeless classic, it touches emotions that can't be expressed with words. It just makes you feel... something. Anything. Which is what music should do. This piece does that well.
This is one of my favorites, I hope to be able to play it some day. Thank you. I've watched many of your other vids, amazing. How long have you been playing, and how long/how often did you practice to get so good? I try to put in two hours a day, I've only been playing for a few weeks, but I'm hooked.

This is incredible. If you can record the 3rd mov with the same passion, you will definitely change someone's life for real. I dropped a tear for this impressive interpretation. Last time was while listening to Fazil Say playing Chopin's Nocturne #19 in France (1997?)
You are very good. I need a new piano (central c no longer working). What type is yours, it looks like something along the lines i need. And is it very expensive?
...............I absolutely loved this piece ever since I heard It for the first time almost two decades ago when I was a child. Excellent choice by your friend and as always, excellent performance! Thank you! I will enjoy this one again and again!
i love this piece... after a while the solitude seems to kind of fade if you play it a lot, but if ive been away from the piano for a while and sit back down and play it, that same dark feeling kind of comes over me... but this is excellent :)
