I really like the beat.

The only thing is that I HATE hearing 4/4 remixes of songs that are originally 12/8 time. The vocal rhythm just classes with the song rhythm and it drives me mad. :(

I understand that, but I'm not talking about the BPM of the song, I'm talking about the time signatures of the original compared to your remix.

The original song was done in "12th beat" or 12/8 time signature while your remix is a definate 4/4 time signature.. The swinging rhythm of the vocals from the originals song clash way too hard with the 4/4 percussion and instruments. The two rhythms don't sync up.

It only sounds like you compensated for this during the bridge and during the "spoken" parts of the chorus.

I'm not saying your mix is bad, I'm just saying I hate hearing songs that were originally sung in a "rolling" or "swinging" beat getting remixed into a 4/4 beat without any sort of rhythmic compensation.
