Oh you poor thing, all you had to do was type in something similar to "madrasa" into Google or Bing, click on the "Madrasah" Wikipedia link and read ONE LINE of type to find out what the word means. Or, you could trust me since I did JUST SAY that I spoke Arabic.

The word "مدرسة" just means "school" - secular, public, private, religious, Islamic. The noun is then defined further by other words "secular", "private", "public", "religious".

As to your query about do we judge Christians regarding violent passages from the Bible. I should hope not since those passages refer to specific countries or geographic locations.
