That's my point- nothing is sacred anymore. People just want to trash even the most innocent of children's cartoons. It's not ironic- it's stupid.

Again you don't seem to get how irony works. They haven't actually changed the cartoon which they are going to show, because people like the cartoon the way it is. This fake trailer is showing how Stupid it would be if they actually tried to make Frosty into some kind of action thriller. That's how irony works, the literal meaning (which you read) is that they have changed frosty and made it better, the contextual or ironic meaning is that they didn't.

Look- I have no desire to argue with you- I love these movies and I don't like when they try to make them less than what they are- commercials like these are cheap marketing tools to make something seem 'cool' when it's fine on its own.

cbs why did you F*%ked up this christmas classic from Rankin/Bass with a "Terminater" parody and pared it up with a Bill Melendez' Frosty Returns. and worst of all you BUTCHERD Rankin/Bass Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, trying to cut it to look like the 1965 version (Rudolph) worst of all you didn't make a documentery about Rankin/Bass 1964 Rudolph.
